Coming back into the US though, you may want to check with your sponsor. Tell them you're going to the beach or something. LOL.

I'm wondering if that means just the number won't work because that step won't have been done.

You don't need the card when coming in by air, but they require it for land crossing, makes no sense but that is the rule. I think part of it is line management, when you come in my air they used to have kiosks, don't any longer, but that is what prompted it.
I will be in town next month on business and I am considering making a trip to TJ. I have what is called a enhanced license from the state I am coming from. It is supposes to get me into Mexico and Canada without the need of a passport. I have not tested this yet at either border. Will this be accepted at the border crossing? Any issues anyone has had in the past? Thanks.

I'm planning a trip down to Tijuana in early November. I've been reading a bunch of post and found a bunch of useful information, but seeing as its my first time heading down there, and by myself, I've been thinking of the best way to spend my time and money so I have a few questions. I primarily want to try some street girls as I see that they're cheaper and I can try out a bunch of different types. I'm also aware that its very hit or miss but its what I'd like to try. Anyway,
Unfortunately for me, the only time I'm able to go is pretty early in the day, so how is the scene during daytime?
If I book a hotel for a few hours can I take any girl up there or are they forced to go into whatever motel there standing in front of?

I have the regular passport booklet, and a California real I'd.
I would like to go into Tijuana and be able to come back across the border without my passport booklet being stamped. I do not travel internationally very often. The few times I have done so it always is stamped when I enter a foreign country or return from that foreign country. I would rather not have any record of my trip going into Mexico, especially since I'm not the only person who will have access to my passport booklet. .
Is there anyway I can get down there and come back and be guaranteed I'm not going to get that booklet stamped?
They have never stamped my passport.

Reposting part of something I wrote on the international site. I should start reposting more so some of you guys can get a better sense of the TJ scene.
This is a report from My visit yesterday at Hong Kong:

I've actually crossed a few weeks ago (in my last post here somewhere) with my book because I lost the card and they did not stamp again. I wouldn't worry about it, just don't be obvious and ask about it not being stamped and they may do it just to fuck with you because they can LOL.
