Unintentionally (honest), I've punted from the end zone into hair, eyes, and even up a nostril (she must have inhaled at that instant). They weren't angry, but they were not thrilled either and called Timeout.

Right now, I'm not too sure how I'd get them to believe in Spermine and its benefits but maybe I could mention it when they cover their faces though.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Has anyone every heard of the provider have to split a cut there tip with the house at and AMP even after the house fee is collected. I thought that the tip what every it maybe was the providers.

Thanks for the info and the PM from everyone but I am a small time monger in the 808 was out on the prowl when I got a sob story about mamsan going to kick ole girl out because she was'nt making any money. And she went down the list of fees. I had never hear of that before so I was wonder if it was true in most cases. I guess that really cut in to there pocket when you think about it. One of the reasons that providers leave certain places is because they're being dimed out of too much money, causing disputes with management. The Ichiban reference is surprising, though, since they've had a steady stable of providers for a while, none of whom seem interested in moving someplace new. Guess there was a different, more controlling MS back in the day.

It makes more sense now, that the slow, ugly, low service providers ask for the tip up front. They need the full amount of tip to make payments to the mamasan.

The next time you get a girl that asks for the tip up front, put a. 20 on the nightstand and tell her she will get more if the service warrants it. Tell her up front that you will also be deducting tip if she gives you attitude, don't do this, don't do that, etc. And that you will be giving more if you give exceptional service (motivation).

This way the monger can be in control of the situation. If she is persistent about the tip, tell her that premium tips go to girls under 28 years old (you can tell if they are older than 28 by the crease on their neck; usually older than 28 yrs old has one crease; older than 38 yrs old has 2 creases; older than 48 yrs old crows feet around corner of the eyes).

Check it out and ask them if they are older than such and such. I found this to be true for most women.

I wouldn't count Kelly since she is part of management.

I work extensively with numbers in my regular job. If I had some good solid data, things like a cost benefit analysis, both with the provider's and the parlor's view in mind, can easily be done.

Without all that work on data, here's what I think the deal is: it's a super lucrative business. (No $hit). As for the provider pov, most of the time, they get a decent slice of the pie. Even if the house gets a cut of their tips. Enough for some to want to stay in that business (risks and all) which, more or less, meets whatever end. Of course in any and every economic model, some get screwed over. It's just that none get screwed over enough, that is not enough get screwed, to a point where the cost outweighs the benefits. Note that I could be dead wrong or not completely right

It's difficult to make solid any of the above since so many other things can be happening. Such as a girl could be just desperate for money, or for whatever reasons need fast money, and lacking any marketable skills change the cost benefit balance. So things like a house nickle-and-diming a girl falls in the grin-and-bear pile. I suspect that everything mentioned (a provider loving the job and a provider reluctantly in the job) is equally true across the spectrum. Like anything else resembling the model.

Getting off topic for a bit, I wonder why these women do what they do and wonder if they could be doing something else. Nara's a great conversationalist. I've discovered she's way more savvy in local politics (the rail, the last election, and other things) than the average local. Of whom belong to a state with the worst record of civic involvement in the nation—case & point, voting. Aki is just a joy to be around, and could easily be friends with anyone. Joy's the same, but with more of that comedic flare. All of these women seem possess unique interpersonal skills.

Just an observation.

As for the house pov, it really isn't their best interest to screw over these women—at least to a point where it would cause a huge turnover. Like any place of employment, it gathers reputation. Reputation can attract or repel.

I guess I count Kelly because I've seen her so many times, but they really do need to draw in some new staff. At one point, they were down to Kelly and Bobbi. Jackie was there for a brief stint. Now, Julie is around. I wonder why they don't bring in more talent and take some of the stress off of Bobbi and Julie. Maybe they like being an afterthought AMP, off the beaten path, with fewer clients than their neighbors up the road. Maybe they can better control their clientele that way.
