Not the dichotomy you suggest
It is not a situation, Golf, wherein the assertions have yet to be proven "false" and are therefore assumed to be true. Rather, when I offered that the assertions were true, Troy and company denied such. I then pointed out that those suggesting my information was untrue had motives for saying so-motives that Troy and his cohorts denied. Now information from an objective third-party source clarified the matter. It is not a question of ego, as I neither gain nor lose anything in the process of vetting the information. My point was to share what I had learned and leave it to each of you to factor the information into your decision-making process regarding the approach to particular studios. As Sunycide and Sports Scourt pointed out, I never suggested that mongers avoid these locations; I simply counseled caution in the approach because of the focus of LEO on these studios. Please understand that I am not playing "King of the Hill," Golf. The point is to share relevant information. If it helps one monger avoid what I went through, it was worth sharing.
Thanks to you, Kyowa, for your endorsement and support. My goal from the beginning was to open an additional channel of information to the board to compliment the volume of information shared among the mongers. I am still relatively new here, so I do not intend to step on any toes in the process of contributing to this board. If I did that unintentionally, please accept my apology.
It's been a month or two.

Anybody tried MissySquirtz Oral skills recently? She said a while back she had been working on them. Just wondered if she had improved.
They were fine.
A Difference, But Not A Distinction.
I would like to know what the thoughts are on the state of the hobby. Especially Legal. Legislation is up in Frankfort regarding human trafficking. BP has been associated with this for awhile and if this passes and I'm sure it will - then the state will be in our backyard in a way we don't wish. I feel we have very few venus to monger in.
Your question could not be more prescient, Snoot. The wind is up in many local jurisdictions regarding adoption and enforcement of adult entertainment legislation in the more populated counties. Law enforcement is being backed into corners due to the seeming prevalence of adult-oriented entertainment in many communities. This is in fact nothing new, of course. What is new, however, is the volume of providers promoting themselves in many of the publications frequented by hobbyists. The push by legislators is not so much to eliminate adult entertainment as to streamline it among traceable companies and organizations. Getting everyone in the business affiliated with established companies seems to be the focus of the legislation. This allows the government to tax the organizations (in the form of licensing fees and corporate taxes) and weed out the less sophisticated operations. City leaders can handle a few well-organized companies providing adult entertainment (in whatever form.) What they cannot seem to handle is business that they cannot track or tax.
In the final analysis, what we are seeing is posturing, mongers. City leaders need to feign genuine concern over adult entertainment to satisfy their more conservative constituents. Periodic sweeps of the type we are witnessing are the appeasement necessary to maintain stability and order. If we want to maintain our game and help maintain availability of providers, encourage them to comply with local licensing and registration ordinances. Depending upon their menu, licensing can and should range from LMT to exotic dancer to escort. If they do this, oversight shifts from law enforcement to administrative agencies. This means less-frequent visits by government workers and a substantial drop in concern of city leaders. It will make it marginally more expensive for us to play, but it will make it safer for everyone involved. Law enforcement does not genuinely care about the practice of adult entertainment; they do care about appearances.
