2 FA at TNA and general concerns about privacy
I'm behind the times when it comes to promoting my own online privacy. Maybe others are, too?
I use a VPN and Chrome when connecting to hobby-related sites. Based on your notes below, I inferred that my digital fingerprint, via my surfing habits or my hardware or both, is exposed. If I switch to Tor or Firefox, it's less easy for others to fingerprint my machine / connection, right? Ought I still use a VPN or does the Tor network address that?
Thanks for any privacy recs!
PS I use TNA as one of my primary sources (pics, specials, and alerts)--if I find anything negative on that site about the provider, that's a deal-breaker, positive reviews on that site don't mean much to me--and I consult other, secondary sources like USAsexguide to separate the wheat from the chaff. If TNA went away, I'd miss that advertising platform. But I think it would affect the providers WAY more than the hobbyists.
Use a browser that obfuscates fingerprinting. This is also why I only have an account to look up pics. I don't interact with the board at all.
If they start banning VPN IPs it might be a challenge but they are just hurting their paying customers at the point. And let's be honest, if that board dies is anyone here actually going to care?

It ain't just that. They'll now be retaining your IP and a hardware hash.
Somebody over there forgot what business they were in.
