As for your camera, does it help if you put the camera in total manual, cutting off the Flash, and setting your Aperture to 5. 6 or the setting One above that and setting your digital ISO to #1600. I have used that when taking pix flash less inside Dance Clubs, and sometimes using a mono pod. You may still get some blur but more towards the end of the image line, according to movement direct. MAYBE.

Last night I used ISO 2200 and kept the aperture at F2.8 as I needed every drop of light I could get.
The Nikkor 70-200mm F2. 8 can keep an 2. 8 through the entire zoom range.

It does not have VR which I think would have helped greatly.

I am about to go back the old post of this Forum, and read up. I do take Monger Vacation with the Fellas, mainly to areas within 5-8 Hours of Cincy. So taking a trip at some point to your City becomes a serious matter to consider. Driving is out, so flying in is the only option.

I am so Amazed of the Quality of SW's in your area. I am seeing HBO Hunts-Point SW's but better looking. This is why I like to read and see the post in LAX.
