Guess I was wrong about probably not having two stings in a row. Well, either way these guys didn't know or follow the rules. First off they probably have not read the forum or even known about it. Second, there might have been some first-timers mixed in with them for sure (if not all of them). I feel bad for them...that is unless they're just idiots. I've seen plenty out there for sure.

Remember, LE always wants to "hear" the transaction clearly and they don't get into cars and drive blocks away, unless you're being closely followed. Remember, you're just a civilian taking a drive until they get a confession or evidence. DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM.

Agreed. Some just don't know the rules and others may know them, but do not always follow them because the little head can be a very powerful overriding factor! To read those rules the first time that you stumble on to this site is not enough - you need to revisit them from time to time to reinforce their importance.

While those rules are designed to guard against a variety of losses (loss of car due to an impound, loss of bankroll due to a rip off, loss of life or limb), from strictly an LE perspective I like the recent short and sweet post by Spinman which stated:

"If I don't know her and her ass is not sitting in the passenger seat, we are not rolling and at least a couple blocks away, she's a COP period.... " That single sentence says a lot.

This is what I would recommend to someone that might be lurking on this site and never has tried it, but thinks they might want to jump in on the street action: go out and run the track a couple of times BUT LEAVE YOUR $$ AT HOME! I found this approach to be helpful.

Doing so will have completely removed the little head factor from the equation while you get your bearings. A dress rehersal so to speak. And while you're on that recon mission, make your observations and think about how you would play things if you DID have your $$. And whatever it is you think you would do - think about it one more time from the standpoint of am I following the rules???

A newbie might spot a real looker at the corner of McMkn & Elm (good for you). But does the newbie know what car is trailing him a half block further back and who's in the car behind that one? Or will he notice the LEO parked in the dark further up the street at Mohawk watching you pull over to make the scoop?

These are the kind of things that you need to be thinking about on those initial runs. And once you are thinking from that perspective perhaps when you've got cash with you on that 3rd, 4th or 5th run you will already be in the habit of looking at things this way.

At this point, with cash now in tow the little guy is back in the decision making process. But just because you are now starting to see familiar faces on the street and some of the spots that LE likes to hide, it doesn't mean your safe. You've just reduced your risk for this phase. Having done your dry runs on this part of the game allows you to be more confident and make better decisions in your dealings "once her ass is in the passenger seat".

Eventially though with confidence and a few scoops under your belt you're gonna screw something up. We all have, but hopefully that screw up isn't on the portion addressed in Spinman's quote. When you do screw up you have to go back and review the rules again and don't be shocked when you see that your situation was covered by one of them, but you chose not to follow it.

If you look at the guys who got stung, most don't look like ones who know or care that there might be rules for mongering... Reference was made to the "13 rules" posted in 2008:

Some are saying that mongering with escorts is much better... Maybe... But if you read the Escort or Craig's List Boards, you are even more likely find an escort who does not deliver anything like what was promised, and charges you literally 10x or more what an SW charges. For those too afraid to street monger, and who have $$$ to toss around, fine. But don't knock 'the hunt' until you try it. Mongering on the street is like prospecting for diamonds in the rough. The rewards can be great. And don't think you can't get busted with a $$$ escort.

BTW, other sites report increased stings, nabbing 20-30 persons in a night. (Nashville sounds just like Cincinnati.) I suspect a national coordinated process.

It's all because of it being election time and politicians/police chiefs needing to have some splashy coverage to dance around in front of to validate why they should be in office. 3 weeks after elections are over and everyone is either safe or replaced, it'll go right back to the status quo again. Happens every election time that I can recall all the way back to the late 70s. These types of arrests are easy to pull off, relatively safe for the officers, and make headlines.

If a supposedly SW walks up to your car window and ask something like "What do you want?" and not get in your car. You need to be Alarmed that she is probably undercover. Remain cool and act like a lost citizen in the area and ask for directions for the nearest Gas Station or something.

The female Undercover [b]will try to entice you into Soliciting her[/b] because you did stop to talk to her. Remember to remain calm and cool and don't response to any suggestive innuendo! Just say something like "sorry to bother you but I have to be on my way" and drive way slowly and leave the area immediately.

You may be followed and possibly stopped by LE even though you didn't offer "money for Sex" to the undercover. LE hates to lose an easy arrest and may stop you because of possibly they ran you plates and see that you have a warrant.... maybe your one of your car lights are broke and they will give you a warning ticket. Once my light on my back license plate was out and LE gave me a ticket. They will try to find out what your doing in the area and they will try to intimate you into talking. Remain calm and polite and don't response beyond giving your driver's license's and any other ID like auto insurance card or car registration.

Also I have questions about the 20 people arrested last week. Only 4 people were posted on the channel 9 website and one of them was a SW. Why wasn't the other 16 people listed? In other cities where a sting occurred the News will always list everybody caught like in the city of Hamilton or Middletown and even Dayton, Ohio! I'm Suspicious of the News report. Who are the other people caught? Why they were not named and only 4 people were? I did noticed that the three guys had other charges besides soliciting.

Another point in mongering. Don't carry contrabands or drugs while driving. LE will do everything to find other charges against you. Keep you vehicle clean!!!!

Finally my take on the guys who were caught. You can call them Newbies who were thinking with their "Little Head" but that is an overly generalization. It get used too much here. We all are in the hobby because of some degree of the "Little Head".

People caught in the recent sting knew where to go to find the SWs, therefore knew something about this hobby. And they knew nothing about the pitfalls of the hobby especially Street mongering.

It's like every guy has watched the TV Show "COPS" and seen the episodes of female undercover impersonating as SWs!!!! Come On now "COPS" been on the air for twenty years. Also from time to time you read or watch on the news about the Stings in the area since forever!

These guys were just careless and stupid at the time. I bet the undercover LE was well above good looks to the regular SWs out there. Somebody had to seen a take down and I wish they would report what they saw so we can have some intel.

Some people have to learn the HARD way about everything. The rest of us need to always keep your guard up. My two cents to you Bill Fanta.

So what I thought Giani said was interesting and decided to investigate for myself. Google the words "national prostitute diversion". It's based out of Dallas Texas. It seems as though the conference was last November, but I'm sure there are other programs and later dates since then.

You make some very accurate points my man and you also are right on the money with other towns experiencing similar stings.

I hope you are not including me in those who knock you hunters. As I have said several times before I admire the courage, discipline and hard work the hunters that are successful put in on the hobby. I do wish that everyone that participates in the hunt word be as diligent as you guys are. Seems it would make it a little easier for all if they would also follow the rules.

My only point in the discussion is that some like myself, as looking for a different experience and are willing to pay a little more for that experience. By all means you are correct in your assessment for the cash and dash and bait and switch rip off artist. That is why I always recommend that everyone participating in my area of the hobby do their homework here and other sites to insure they are meeting with a well reviewed provider as to get the best experience at an affordable price. While that price may indeed be significantly more than a street girl it is a totally different experience and deserves the additional donation if the service warrants it.

Like I have said before there are enough variations to the hobby to meet everyone’s kink. If you find what area that scratches your itch and it fits within your chosen budget I think that is fantastic.

I admire and respect all of the members here that are successful and pass along their experiences so that those that follow can benefit from their experience. I am also totally against anyone getting knocked for their choices, every successful hobbyist should be given the respect they are due for being successful and generous with their experience.

Last year I was cruising and spotted a BSW that looked pretty nice on Elm near Henry. I pulled over and she came up to the driver's window. I asked her if she wanted a ride and she said, "What do YOU want to do?" Right away I went into "code red" mode because I knew that most SWs will jump right into your car when you stop for them. The other "red flag" was that this female kept asking me what I wanted to do, clearly trying to get me to say I wanted something sexual. From reading the rules on this board, I knew this was not a good situation to be in so I just smiled at her and said, "I don't think you need a ride right now." She smiled back as if to say she knew her cover was blown. Even if you stop for a female that is part of a sting, as long as you just offer her a ride, they ain't gonna get you cause you've done nothing illegal. And if it's a sting, she isn't going to get into your car in most cases. In those few cases where a sting involves the female actually getting into your car, she isn't going to massage your manhood or flash her privates. So just keep your head, both of them, and use a bit of caution and common sense, and you won't get stung. Not to say there aren't other dangers such as getting robbed or ripped off in some other way.

We know that it is high risk for a decoy to get into a car. That is why they just don't do it and bait you to disclose an act/price through the open window.

LE may not put one of their own in a car, but what about a SW that is known to you? Is anyone aware of any history where a known SW is particpating with LE in a take down and gets into the car?

I suppose Rule #11 would help to protect you on that one, but still curious if there is evidence of that ever happening. Some first time meets that I have had want to immediately play lets make a deal as soon as they're in the car before you can even get rolling again. I know I have aggrevated more than one of them as I try to adhere to #11.

Rule 11: "Make a turn or two before discussing $$, just in case. Watch your rear view - you can bet she will, too! I've never heard of LE getting in the car, with a follower, but better safe than sorry".

Whats really funny about that youtube video is that the police began questioning him without reading him his rights. It was made clear that he was under arrest and there is video of the entire process, everything he said could be thrown out of court and he could have lawyerd up gotten charges dropped and then sued the dept. And just because the cop broke the law on cops.

I've encountered a few girls in my fairly neophyte mongering who seems a little suspicious myself. I can think of at least two occasions where immediately after getting in the car, the SW said something of the like "So, what you just want a BJ for like. 2 or what? " I'd check my mirrors and stammer a bit while driving and ignoring her. Go a block or two, THEN discuss. There's actually been a time where a girl I knew was a regular SW was being so coy with me I had to do the cop-a-feel test to make sure I wasn't being led on. Though I'm relatively new and inexperienced compared to many on here, I follow the guidelines well and have had no bad experiences. There are many nights I end up with Palmetta when the pickings don't look good and I don't want to risk it. I don't get greedy and let the little head do the thinking. There were 5 at about 10a this morning, but nothing I was interested in. Early to mid afternoons have been dead. I don't head down there a whole lot at night, but when I do, I've never had a problem locating targets. As far a PH goes, I have no idea. Well I ended up going out at about midnight as I figured it should offer some luck. Well there were absolutely NONE around MCM until you got past Mohawk, then there were about 10 that were regulars I didn't really want to choose. I did the circuit about 3 times in different loops before finding 2 WSW that came out around MCM and MLK. Ended up getting a shorter 'blond' calling herself Jaime. She had a pretty good body, about a 7. Face gets a 6. Runway below and clean.

Unfortunately. She ripped me off. Started on a BBBJ for an agreed. 2 then she just kinda slowed down and stopped while I held her hair and ran my hand along her ass over her pants. She was getting 'distracted' from me rubbing her, and ended up sitting up and asking for more money to finish. She even rooted in my pockets of my downed pants and scrounged an extra. 02 while I was expressing my displeasure at basically her kissing me below and saying 'Thanks for the. 22! ' Basically. She wanted no less than. 35 for a BBBJ, and hinted at FS for. 45. Overpriced for her lack of enthusiasm, obviously fake personality, and mediocre skills at best. In the time she was attempting to work me, other girls would have gladly taken then. 2 and given a MUCH better performance including finishing. Earning the tip instead of taking it. Definitely a never again thing for me. Heck, she dropped my. 2 when she was getting out of the seat and I was so tempted to snatch it back and floor it. Hope she enjoys her. 22 she jipped me, it'll be the last she ever gets from me. Hope I help a few others avoid her.

For those who engage in the street game, a reminder of the first rule: NEVER negotiate thru the window. ONLY offer a ride. Only if she jumps right in do you proceed to the next stage. If she wants to negotiate, tell her, sorry, I thought you were someone I knew.

IF she jumps right in, then only small talk while you immediately drive out of the hot zone, making several turns, checking your mirror all the time.

Once out of the zone, and assured that you are not being followed, do the touch test, but still no mention of anything like sex for money.

From there, at least, you are unlikely to be stung by LE, but still be wary of the wiles of an SW. Read the rules.

Was out today around 6 and saw lots of great looking girls in the usual areas. One HOT younger blonde in PH struck my attention with a waive. She was walking with two older ugly ladies and would NOT leave them. Tried to position myself for a quiet pickup on a side street, but she was REFUSING to leave their side. Saw her talk to a few people, again with the other two very close by but no one picked her up. I have a slight suspision that they were an undercover team working together. Left it alone and later on that evening saw the task force in street clothes and bullet proof vests shaking down some corner thugs. In my opinion, that's all the evidence I needed they were out today. Goes to show that if you're on top of your game and obide by the rules, you can avoid unwanted situations. Don't be in a rush to be the first one to scoop up a newbie diamond. Let her spend some time getting to the know the area and other people first.

Your post is rich, informative, and a cautionary tale. For these reasons, it gets the highest marks. But a point or two:

1) You were not "ripped off." Ripped off means cash and dash or worse she gets money up front, then, with some excuse, managers to get out of your control (not hard). Or perhaps she riffles through your pockets while entertaining your little head.
You gave her the money, but was not satisfied with the service. I would not call a dissatisfied customer "ripped off." Though this is a relatively minor point to be sure.
2) Never give up the $ before the service, even if they say they won't perform without it. Sometimes, 1/2 up front, then the rest afterward.
3) NEVER give an SW greater temptation than she can resist. Drugs and living on the street erode their will power. They cannot help but take advantage of any situation which presents itself. My friend reports numerous incidents with SWs they knew and trusted, but when presented with major temptation, grabbed it and ran.

If the same SW, Jaime is well known to other mongers. I don't think she is automatically a reject. Just set the rules during the set up to the encounter.

Took a cruise down McMick around 5:30 this morning and started down at MLK and it was completely dead all the way down to Mohawk. At Mohawk there were 3 cpd cruisers parked every which way pretty much blocking half of the intersection. Made another pass down McMick from Ravine to MLK and was still dead so jumped on Central and headed back down towards Findlay again and still seen the leo on Mohawk. Turned around and was going to call it a night and noticed the leo was gone and there was a WSW brunette getting dropped off on Central right between Ravine and Mohawk and she looked about an 8. I made one pass and turned onto Ravine and circled back around on Mohawk and when I was approaching her this time she waved at me. I was considering making the stop but was to sketched out from the leo being there minutes prior. Kept thinking that maybe the leo was there doing stings and was just sitting there BSing after their last bust and had finally reset the sting and got in their hiding spots and put the bait back out. Decided to just make a final run down McMick and luckily I seen red head Jaime in her usual area and knew I was safe that stop. WSW appeared to be very tall, dark hair, seemed to have very tan face or maybe due to the makeup she was wearing at Mohawk & McMick. A little too obvious for my tastes attracting attention waiving at traffic. Never seen before.

WSW w/ short kind of butch hair style, not fat but slightly plump and sorta cute in the face at Ravine & McMick. Gave the look and a lick of her lips on the drive by. Looked familiar but not certain.

WSW?? w/ dark hair, pregnant, wearing I love NYC shirt. Looked dirty and out of it on the move between Vine and Elm.

Chicks with dicks were spread out a bit and not hanging in a clump at Dunlap and spotted one of them way north of the industrial zone in what I would consider Jaimey territory.

Many options appeared to be available this evening. Was on a return trip home from NKY after a chat line hook up and was not really looking to have a 2nd cup. Not certain I liked the feel of things out there though because of the unfamiliar faces. LE was not visable AT ALL on these two passes.

It stinks of LE stings in UPH all along Warsaw for the past week and a half. Every single day. There is at least one blonde with longer hair that HAS to be LE. Not to be confused with the blonde with REALLY long hair down to her ass that hangs out on State. This other LE blonde has been on Warsaw in various outfits and makeup types to make her look like a totally different person. One day she's the bum-dressed-down type, the next day she a young hip sexy chick. Oh you LE are tricky aren't ya. There are also a few thicker brunettes that I've noticed walking by themselves that are prob also LE. The blonde usually walks with other members of LE. These girls are staying mainly on the Warsaw strip. It's easier for LE to keep an eye on them. That's not a definite, so don't go picking anyone up on side streets. They DO go there too. Watch out for FAKE shakedowns and FAKE pickups of them also.

I would say because of the recent heat on the streets from LE, stick to the regulars we all know. I'm just gonna keep reporting good info on LE, play it safe and give my girl I keep in my back pocket a ring. No need to find diamonds until you know the cubic zirconia's are out of the picture. LE--Go clean up the drug dealers and guys with guns.

This Jammi I'm talking about not to be confused with red-hair Jaimey who is now in lockup. Both spell their names differently. Both have different personalities when dealing with them and if you seen both then you'll know what I mean.

Blonde Jammi constantly wants more money and will not stop till you let her know you won't pay anymore or else!

Thanks for the review and tips. I'm still trying to remember the specific lingo to use to get my meaning across most effectively. In this situation compared to other experiences people have had, you're right, i was not ripped off but definitely left unsatisfied. She completely fits the description below as Blond Jammi in her personality and attitude. I probably won't get her again just because there is other, better choices out there and no need to be picky. I haven't had the chance but J-Me is still on my must do list.

I definitely have some learning to do about how to handle myself, and to man up a bit and not be so timid. I've always been a gentle person and very much a people pleaser so it not uncommon for me to be somewhat passive with negotiations. I'm usually only like this with first encounters with a new girl though, and with repeats i've no problem being firm and getting negotiations. The decoy will act like a SW and when an unsuspecting monger drives up to her she will begin a conversation. She'll say something like "hello, want something?" and the guy ask her if she wants to go on a date or lets have fun." Then the KEY thing she will ASK is "How Much?"

That's when the undercover Sting got you. When you ASK for SEX FOR MONEY to an undercover cop.

When the Stings are set up at typical locations where SW are known to be. The police will chase away all the local girls away and their pimps. They don't want the regular girls warning unsuspecting guys.

As simple as that sounds there are a lot of guys that have no common sense about picking up SWs.

This weekend I parked and watched a couple spots to see what's going on.

I saw a guy stop right in the middle of the street to talk to a SW. He didn't pull over to the curb or drive on around the corner discreetly. He did pick the SW up then drives a very short distance (about 20 yards) to a corner to negotiate! The guy had Florida license plates so he was out of his area.

Then I saw another guy in a van talking to a SW through the window for several minutes. The SW was a known SW in the area. Still, that's a bad habit to do if LE suddenly drives by and sees him. Also he was driving a marked van which tell everyone who he works for. STUPID.

Just a few observations and comments from watching different areas on McMicken. Just be alert and know that LE has and will continue Sting Operations in the coming summer.

You are right on the money about "How to get stung..." True SWs never tarry at the pickup spot. For the umpteenth time, if she does not jump right in after you ask if she needs a ride, leave her on the curb immediately. If she really IS an SW, she will learn. Remember also the pattern of stings: do not pick up the SW the first pass. Check all points with view of the "SW". Cars with several guys, or tinted windows nearby are immediate suspects.

Your tales of ignorant mongers reminds me of Words' rants about mongers stopping in the middle of the street, SWs negotiating thru the window, parking with your foot on the brakes, etc. Presumably there is no need to give a link again to the rules. Newbies: read'em and avoid the weep.

Harpo: wish you had taken a camera with you. Many newbies (actually, all of us) are visual learners ;-). If you are 'staking out' pickup spots, BE CAREFUL, LE may spot YOU. On the other hand, snap some illustrative pix to show us. Blot out the plate number, so it cannot be used as evidence. We could start a thread, "How not to monger..." (OK, OK, not ANOTHER new thread.)

Took a cruise down McMick this morning around 5:30 until about 6:00, I was surprised by the number of girls out in the rain. Saw 2 WSW both brunettes between MLK and Marshall both of the girls were new to me but only 1 was good enough looking to consider picking up. Jaime is back out of jail and was in her usually spot and also seen a possible BSW. The possible BSW was walking from Marshall towards Ravine and didn't appear to be a tranny but was still not certain enough to consider picking her up. Was planning on picking up the better looking WSW on my cruise back down McMick but she was in the process of getting picked up. Cruised around for about 10 more minutes but seemed all the girls were either picked up or called it quits so I decided to call it quits and head home.
