I seem to recall jackasses in red berets with pins on them strutting around downtown crossing when my mom took me school shopping back in the day.

One of my buddies was with the GA in the early 90's - and yes, they used to patrol CT and hassle SW's. I thought they folded up when Swila got shot in the mid 90's. I always figured the megalomanic put one in himself (ala Chuck Stuart) because he was that desperate for media attention. It turns out Gotti Jr ordered a hit on him because he was bad mouthing him or some silly shit like that. Never saw a single one since I started 'patroling' the zone around 97-98.
I thought that there was a resurgence of the GA that corresponded with the establishment of the New Black Panther Party. I could be completely wrong about that, all of the original stuff happened way before my time.
I see the Transit police EVERYWHERE.
Any city or town the MBTA runs in the transit (MBTA) police have power in. They can also write moving violations anywhere & parking tickets in boston. So when you see them be careful they can pull you over to if they think they see you doing something wrong.

To further expand on this point the Transit Police has the largest jurisdiction than any other police force in the State, according to the Boston Globe.
The police in Massachusetts have one 'special power' over that of the ordinary citizen. The can arrest someone based on the testimony of another person, that’s it. All of the other policing 'powers' can be assumed by an ordinary citizen - anyone interested in housing their own prisoners before bring them before a judge? Didn't think so...
The real limiting factor in where police patrol is of course - money. Insurance does not cover them if they are policing outside of coverage areas. If they do it's a cardinal sin and a one way ride to the shit house with their police force.
I think by definition that the State Police have the largest patrol area. The T police being a multi city/town force is probably 2nd. Just because it’s printed in a newspaper doesn’t mean it’s remotely true.
Focus guys Focus.
Snap out of it
We're getting our ass's kicked by Springfield.?.? Lets stick to the mission at hand: providing SW reports.

For some strange reason I decided to head into town around 1130pm. CT, BHA, and Chelsea were all rather skim. Picked up a WSW for a BBBJCIM for .20. Nothing to write home about but it something to report at least.

I just strolled BHA lst night night for about an hour just to see what's out there. I knew my chances were slim until I st my eyes on this one pretty damn attractive BSW walking slowly down BHA nearby Creston St. I ended up talking to this good looking BSW named Tasha and let me tell you she is a keeper. Looking at her, she looks about 21, but she tells me she's 30!. She's slim looking, dresses pretty good, great set of teeth, talks a bit too much, but I overlooked that and I don't think she does drugs.
Her and I go off to a spot on Intervale St. where she gives me a BBBJ followed by some pounding action all for $20. Again, she had a pretty good attitude, although a bit nervous because she thought someone was watching us. After we finished, she asked for a tip, but did not push it. Not to pricey, but worth it. I gave her a $5 when she tried to get $10 from me.
Again, Face 6-7, Body 7 Attitude 5+ Smarts 6, Performance 7
That said, she does have a phone, once I confirm it and get her permission, I will pass it on to most Senior Members who PM me. She has a Nextel from what she told me. I would suggest you pick her up if you can, for she may soon have enough regulars to not have to walk the stroll. Give me some time on this fellas.
[red]P.S. I just made a thread called: "The Combat Zone Of Old" in the Boston section so we can all post about the good ol days. Would that work for you guys?[/red] :)
As always, be safe and look out for one another........And the LEO's

Hey Meatman thanks for the report.
As for me when I headed into CT and BHA I saw nothing worth picking up. In fact I saw nothing in CT and headed over to BHA and nothing caught my attention. I guess the cold is keeping the girls in.

True, the advantage I have is I am a foot stroller, so I get to see em up front and I'll know what I am getting. More often if they have an attitude, I bypass. If not, well, hopefully the reward outscores the risk. And yeah it is getting a bit nippy. Looking to go to a Latin American country soon. Just haven't decided where............
Hit the town a bit too early I think.
Started in Chelsea. Saw two WSW and 1 BSW all downtown area. But all very cracky, nothing I would pick up. Then hit CT for a while. NOTHING. Back through Chelsea on my way home. One more WSW again cracky. Headed home with nothing. Fun fun
