Okay. Anybody have the scoop on what the Franks' grand jury indictment is having on business and mileage now @ Ricks and Honeys?

I'll be in the area in a week or so and I can visualize these scenarios: 1) Nobody in the place and girls giving lame/scared dances; 2) Place is packed with balls-to-the-wall action with a "get it while yo still can" vibe; 3) Television cameras shooting footage of the place being locked up with yours truly being shown to business partners and family.

What an f'en joke. I feel much safer in the parking lot and inside Ricks than walking many places around town. Yeah, I know, the Franks may be cooking the books, but do you know any contractors who sometimes also do this?

Nice make-work pay day for the boys in blue and big checks for lawyers. Our tax money at work.

Got to slow down before I get all wound up.[/QUOTE]The past couple of times I've been to Rick's it has seemed like it's beginning to return a bit, just a little bit, to where you can get some dances with a little mileage. Still not like it was in the heyday, but improving, IMHO. I typically go at night, I hear the daytime is even better if you are at least a semi regular and the girls know you a bit.

I go to Honey's more than Rick's and the same is true there, only more so I think. There are a couple of dancers that know me and will do whatever they can get away with, which is a lot if they are on good terms with the management. Ratio of dancers to customers is pretty high these days, so it's a little bit of a buyer's market right now, especially since many customers don't have the cash to spring for too many dances. Also seems like the overall looks of the dancers has improved from a year ago.

Keep in mind that LE presence in SnoCo has been on the rise. I guess there was a raid at Honey's maybe 3-4 weeks ago, possibly more since then although I haven't heard, as well as stings on street prostitution and Johns in Everett. Still not as bad there as in Seattle though, they don't do as much undercover at Honey's as they do at Rick's. All in all, it's not as dismal at the clubs as it has recently been. None of your three scenarios has been my experience. Mostly the clubs have not been packed, but not empty. The action is there to be had, but it's definitely low key. And no cameras that I could see, unless you count the surveillance cameras at Little Darlings.

Recent good times have been had at Sandz.

Was at Sugars Tuesday.

It was like a ghost town.

Two dancers, one other patron besides me me and he was just looking and wouldn't try to talk with girls so I had to make do but still good time.

Now is time to hit these spots before they get sucked up by the feds.

There was an article in the paper a day or 2 ago, it already happened. Sugars was one of the four named, another in Tacoma.

Dropped by Honey's this week Tuesday around 4pm. All is well and traffic inside was about the same. Girls remain very friendly. Stick with the brunettes. Got some bubblegum stuck on a dancer's body part, but she was very cool about it. Must visit again.

More girls are negotiating dance prices. Could be the end of an era as puritanical values drive more activities underground.

I'm sure there's some people that are thinking they're going to have to maximize their profits while they can.

I've been back to the Sands a couple times since my first visit. Always around 2pm, Luna was there both times. Paid for my $10 glass of water and Luna instantly recognized me, which is great. Went to the VIP room and enjoyed each other's company. Spent about $80 each time.
