Personally I would definately make the 2 hour drive. But then I am familiar with Nuevo Laredo.
Monday and Tuesdays usually are a bit slow, action starts picking up Wednesday. Day time action can be hit or miss downtown, some girls will be out in the afternoon in BT. Bars in BT start picking up around 9 -10 at night.

You may know this already, but it's worth mentioning. If you are renting a car, the rental company is going to ask you to sign an agreement not to take the car into Mexico. The rental car will have a GPS tracking system and the agency/company will know if you have violated the agreement.

Therefore you will only be able to drive the car to Laredo. From there, you can cross into Mexico on foot and then take a cab or a bus to NL. In my opinion, it's not worth it. There is plenty of safe fun to be had in San Antonio. This is especially true lately since a number of AMPs have been opened. Just look in SACURRENT and then look under classified. You will find interesting ads under both the adult section and under the health section.

I was there recently and had lots of fun in SAT.

I have to laugh when you say the rental cars have a GPS tracking systems. I rent a car myself when I am in S.A. Although, I have been aware of this for a while, I wonder what the car companies say if they ever track my route in S. A.

That is indeed a comical notion. I got a big chuckle out of your post.

But in truth, I don't believe a person actually looks at where you are going or where you have gone. What I think happens is that a computer probably tracks your car and flags your record if you stray south of a certain line.

Come to think of it, you could probably get your car from rent-a-wreck and not have this be an issue. I doubt their cars have GPS. But as you said, there is a lot to see and do in SAT.

I know the deal with rental cars, been driving into Mexico for over 35 years. When I drive a rental into Mexico, it is always with insurance bought through the rental car agency, then you know the insurance is good. But note that I do not drive into Nuevo Laredo.
SAT is too risky and expensive, with NLBT just a short 2 hours away, a good time is assured, and inexpensive. I would be happy to show anyone unfamiliar with Nuevo Laredo the ropes, if interested shoot me a PM.

She has been on brown in terms of years. I don't know if she had a job recently. It could have been a cover story, but then again maybe she did have a regular job. It is a typical story they come up with often, they say they are clean, or that they want to get off drugs etc. etc.

There is only so much you can do to help them out. They themselves have to want to give up their drug habit otherwise, it's not likely they will come clean.

I know too many girls that get locked up for some time and come out clean, only to go back to doing their drugs again.

All one can do is treat them nice.

I still go snooping around every now and then. I spotted alot of movement late last month on North Hackberry between Houston and Nolan. And it wasn't all black action either I saw some latinas in the batch and one skinny yet pregnant pale skined reg haired walker. SAN ANTONIO, Tx. - State lawmakers have proposed a bill that would add five dollars to cover charges for Texas strip clubs, in part, in order to raise funds to fight the sexual assault problem in state.

According to a report by WOAI San Antonio, a House Committee has recently passed the bill, allotting "some of the money" to go to sexual assault programs throughout the state.

"This is a really great way to not tax people, because we're already over-burdened with taxes and fees," Lynn Blanco of the San Antonio Rape Crisis Center told WOAI.

According to lawmaker estimations, the tax is expected to generate about $18 million every two years for sexual assault programs. Extra money, according to the report, would go to the state's general fund. The bill now goes to the full house for a vote.

Is there a connection established as a result of any studies between strip clubs and rape? Not that I'm a huge fan of any studies.

I would think there is definitely enough evidence to add a $10 cover charge to enter a catholic church. The money collected would be put to better use in forming a Rape Crisis Center for Little Boys.

With all due respect, I must disagree on the SC fee. This is most definitely a step in the right direction. If state, city, and/or local governments become used to receiving revenue (not just revenue which covers the cost of administering oversight, licensing, regulation) from sex-oriented businesses, then you can bet your ass they will begin to take a whole new view of those businesses.

And if residents and householders begin to see such business as sources of public funds that they would otherwise have to pay out of their pockets, you would see less pressure on LE to harass such businesses. This is the way it should be. The only government interest in sex businesses should be an interested in seeing that they are properly run, regulated, taxed, etc.

In reality, the greater the percentage of money going to the general fund, the better. This is because everyone would then become a beneficiary of the tax.

I propose that we establish a lobbying group to support this measure and others like it right here and now. We could call it "Commercial Licensing to Improve Tax Structure" or C.L.I.T.S. Hell we could call it anything you want. As soon as Jackson can tell me how to anonymously receive donations, I'll tell you where to send them.

However, from what I understand, a guy in Cali just won a court case when a large rental agency tracked him into Las Vegas while he was supposed to stay in the state. They charged the guy a couple grand on the spot and even showed him the print out from the tracking device. This stuff is NOT high tech. I bought a Tom Tom system (retail $220) gps antenna for my car that is bluetoothed to my Treo 650. So hypothetically I could put a system into my wife's van, we subscribe to the system and she "allows" me to track her gps antenna. Walla. I can now track my wife's position anywhere in North America! Pretty cool eh? Well, guys. Believe it or not Big Brother is already watching. Did you know that digital cams, printers, your pc of course all id themselves with codes? Every digi cam embeds a code into the pic and printers. On every sheet of paper on the back is a very very faint yellow series of lines that id's your printer. I got this info from 20/20 or some news show. Anyway, be careful. But not TOO paranoid.
