I do wonder if she'd be high maintenance or a toe dipper. She's 26, has two huskies (so likely living with parents or has $$ of her own as those hairy lovable dumb bastards are expensive to have), and just some college (so leaning towards living with parents).

Basically, no real red flags, cute, has sense of humor. I'd just want to know a lot more.

If they communicate that they are running late, I will usually give them extra time if I can, since I always assume they will be late. Wherever we are meeting, I do like to get their first and stake out where I want to sit, so I never minded when they were little late. If we were meeting at a bar, I would get a drink or two while I am waiting and hopefully they show.

What I hate is when they confirm and then never respond after that. In those cases 15-20 minutes is plenty of time, only takes a minute to send a text that you are going to be late. Although, they were a few times they arrived after I left and then I would have to decide if I wanted to go back or not.

She replied about 5 after to say she was running late and calling an Uber, so I knew she wouldn't make 12:15. I asked for an ETA anyway and she said 12:20 to 12:25, which was just too late for me.

Had she reached out first and earlier, I may have extended her some grace. When they're already late before saying anything, I'm unlikely to wait around.

She's definitely a free spirit. A lot of fun but she has a lot of drama in her life.

Others have been open to more. If I'm attracted to them I'll send a message and ask. It's free and doesn't take much time.

Most were a waste of time and there are so many other options. If they would reach out to me, I may ask for clarification of their expectations.

On Monday, we set a time to meet today at a nature center in the north metro. I texted upon arrival to see whether she was there, but the message remains unread more than an hour later. She won't be given another chance.

At least my second strikeout in as many days is tempered by a second date with an excellent long-term prospect this weekend.
