I saw Angela at Alice's right before they shut down and had a great time. I'm hoping that someone has some information on where she might be working. Last weekend I TOFTT at a foot massage place in Chinatown (247 W. Cermak, a few doors down from the old B&B). .2 for 1/2 hour, .35 for 1 hour. I never done foot massages so I said "why not give it a try?" I entered and a young, hot-looking Chinese woman greeted me pleasantly. I opted for 1/2 hour. There was another man inside already getting his feet massaged. The setup is nails and hair in the front of the salon and foot massages in the back. Unfortunately there's no 'back room' (at least as far as I could tell) and everything is in plain view from the street with no shades. Honestly I thought that all I was getting was a foot massage but surprisingly (in a good way) it turned into a full body massage. Of course given the setup my clothes must stay on but the therapist did manage to do some nice work on my back by reaching underneath my shirt. It's the opposite of an AMP in which at first while your feet are soaking in a tub of water you are on your back, and then on the 'flip' you're on your stomach. I wound up getting a whole hour because it felt so good; too bad this wasn't a real AMP. As I said this girl that greeted me and did the massage was hot-looking and wearing a pink dress that had a bowtie in the front; she also had on fishnet pantyhose and heels. I'd have loved to have some action with her but I didn't see a 'back room' where that could've been possible. Foot massage places are the new 'McDonald's' of massage. No extras, but dependable service at reasonable prices. In the 'burbs there's Happy Feet with 3 locations (2 in Naperville. 1 in Villa Park in the same mall where Alma Natural was) and costs $45 / hr. I usually go to FeetFeel spa (2 locations. 75th & Lemont Road and Butterfield & Finley in the DG area). They give you a 50 minute massage for $29. What a deal!

The majority are asian, a couple are latin. There has not been any significant closures of "white" places. Yet half the hair salons in town offer massages of one type or the other. Thete is simply no way everyone offering massage at the hair salons is licensed. No way. Yet none of these places have been shut down. The facts are there.

I have been to Philipines, Thailand, and Sinagpore to name a few, you will find both good and bad deals for travel, hotels, and girls, just know the laws, there is an international version of the site that covers this info. I will say that if you are pay for a hotel yourself, a $20-$30 room a day is good enough if it is clean and has A / C, no need to spend $120-$175 a day for a room unless you want to. I would highly suggest as in your own words: "RTFF".

New Jersey has good AMP and European MP scene. Entire NJ scene is good. Atlantic City was fun so is North Jersey.
But Rhode Island takes the cake IMO. Bit costly but girls normally were young and hot. There was a loophole in RI law which made sex inside a booth / room kinda legal or at the most you would get slap on the wrist. They have removed that loophole some 2 years back now. I don't think any AMPs have been raided in Providence, RI even after law was changed not sure though. I have not been in RI for now 3-4 yrs now but during heydays One Spa, Lilys, Downtown Spa, ABC were awesome. Amazing girls there. Girls would keep changing. They would normally travel from SF and NYC.

It's kind of a weird setup (you are right, there are about 4-5 differnt AMP's in one pseudo strip mall, and once you are in, you can't say "massage") , but it was nice. You get to pick your girl and I had a choice of three young, cute girls. And there was no haggling over price.
It sucked coming back to Chicago.

Looks like I'll be going to the Lake / Mannheim area bars for awhile, and when I do go AMPing it'll be to United in Norridge. Most of the masseuses in the city now are almost demanding. 40 for a tip because she gave you a HE but remember .40 is not mandatory. Reality of the situation is that the masseuse is at the mercy of what ever you give her. If you give anything less she is going to give you the story of .60 goes to the house. Well okay fine. As far as I am concerned I just payed .60 for 1hr of service and I think that is good money. If times are good and I can comfortably pay then no problem but when funds are tight I am not going to pay .40.
A previous monger states that you should only bring what was negotiated which is good advice: I bring only what I will pay comfortably wheather being the same agreed or a bit more.
OPIllini if you payed .40 beyond what you were expecting (total .80 tip) and it did not hurt you then you did nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong with giving someone a good bye gift especially if you have appreciated their service over time. Regret comes when you give more that you can comfortably afford.
I hope you find something worthwhile when visiting the bars on Lake/Mannheim. As far as I am concerned they are worse than the AMPs because at the bars all you get is a tease at .20 per song. I am not saying that I am the --know all-- , --be all-- but if you know of other then maybe you can post or PM.
