But when it comes to computers I am a Neanderthal. I have tried and tried and tried to figure out how to use tineye and Google image search but I am at a loss as to what to do. I only use my smart phone for this hobby. Is that it? IDK.

My experience is both Google Image Search and Tineye work best using your PC, MAC, or laptop. Open the search engine in one tab and then the page with the photo in a second tab. You should be able to use your mouse to capture the pic and drag it into the search tab, then drop it into the search window. Another way is to copy the web address and paste it into the search window. I can get Tineye to work on my Android phone but you have to download the photo into phone's gallery first. Google Image doesn't seem to work that way and I haven't discovered how it works otherwise. I'd ask some college kid how it works. They grew up with this stuff and it's second nature to them. They can't jump start a car though.
