His solid references for the members of this board have always proven out to be good and by golly when he says that he got ripped off then that is it, period. Just because the same girl may be treating me like a king, doesn't mean she didn't rip off the other guy. Besides, how would we know? We weren't there. Just some tips to remember, and myths to dispel.

- The police can, and will, lie to you. It is pointless to ask "are you a cop" when you set something up. They are allowed to say "no".

- If you call, and they ask you what you want, hang up. Or mess with them and tell them, then set up a time, even call to confirm, and don't show. At least you will waste their time.

- Just because you call to confirm and there is no answer, doesn't mean it is legit. I used to think that was a good sign that it was legit, because the cops would want to make sure they didn't lose someone, so they would always answer. Not so.

- If it is a sting, once you have entered that location you are done for. Nothing you say or do or don't say or don't do will stop you from being arrested. You may think you have been tricky and discrete over the phone, but they will have enough to at least do the arrest and get your name on the web sites.

- When the arrest happens, don't speak. Really. If there is any chance for your attorney to get it thrown out, just shut up during the arrest. They will try to be your friend. They will try to be aggressive. They just want to nail it down so you can't have it thrown out. Even if you think you are dead to rights busted, and talking will help your case. It won't. Shut up. Have I stressed this enough? Don't respond to their questions.

- You will be overwhelmed quickly. Physically and psychologically. Your brain will be trying to process many things, foremost being "fuck fuck fuck ... This is bad." Your best action is to read my previous point.

- It ain't like it is on TV. When they come busting in the room, there is no chance for any action or thought. They are loud, numerous, and have the place surrounded as well. They will keep shouting their commands until you comply, with no opportunity for you to do anything. This is smart, because you don't want to do anything other than what they say. Stop. Hands out of pockets. Comply. But don't talk to them. Did I forget to mention that?

- The bait may kiss you. She may let you get your hands under her shirt. None of that means she isn't a cop. Trust to reviews you have seen. Let the new members TOFTT.

- Your time at the county hotel will not go quickly. They are in absolutely no hurry to process you. Your bail could show up an hour after you are brought in, it will still be 6 more hours until you are heading out.

- Just remember, if it is your first offence, you can get it expunged a year later. It won't help against real investigations, but it will at least remove your name from the lists for the cursory searches.
