Jacknhoff pointed out below that her number is linked to a FB account. That FB account has exactly 1 friend. That 1 friend is a doofy looking redheaded dude who, I'm guessing, is the driver you mentioned earlier. That redheaded dude uses his real name on FB and has felony priors.

If she presses the issue I'd remind her again that extortion is a felony and then, using the driver's real name, I'd point out that he's an accomplice and this would be his second felony which would trigger a max sentence upon conviction.

Further, I'd remind her that you did nothing illegal. You were about to commit a misdemeanor but had an 11th hour attack of conscience at which point you asked her to leave which is when she decided to play the extortion card.

Lastly I'd tell her that you have taken the money you were going to give her and put it towards the ten-year rental of a safe deposit box. In that box is a full typed narrative of the events that have transpired complete with names and phone numbers. If your wife, employer, friends, neighbor, pastor, or dog learn about this transaction then the contents of that safe deposit box will be delivered to the police. If anything happens to you that is even slightly suspicious then the contents of that box will be delivered to the police.

Don't become her personal ATM. Let her know that the only reason that the police aren't already involved is because you're a nice person but that your kindness has reached its limits.
