One thing I wonder: How much $$$ do these scammers actually make? I can see how in the pre-Internet days, something like this would have gone on for a long time. But now with all the online databases, a scammer is going to net maybe $1, 000 at the most before someone posts a negative review.
Plus they are putting themselves in real physical danger. Some men could react very nastily when they find out they are the target of a blatant scam.
It seems to me that this is making $$$ the hard way. It would be a lot easier to simply provide a legit service, or go get a job in a non-hobby field.

If each free fake ad they place nets then $1000, then posting 10 free ads can net them $10k. With burner cells so cheap, ($25 on Craigslist for really cheap old pre-paids) , the ROI is pretty high. The only things they really have to worry about are cops responding to their ads, or a pissed off customer with a gun.
So, no matter how hot a provider is, no matter how much your pe_is is begging you to just hand over the cash, DO NOT PRE-PAY, and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO WALK AWAY. If it's not their photo or they start to upsell, or they insist on cash before play, I am out of there.
Until cash exchanges hands, it's hard to prove solicitation.
