Although intently playing the second hole on the front nine, I was eyeballing the back nine and it looked well manicured and inviting. The playing surface looked to be supple and I tested the firmness with my finger, finding it most responsive and not unwelcome. After loosening up the putting surface, I abandoned the second hole on the front nine and headed to hole #3 on the back nine. After a couple of practice swings, I hit a really nice drive straight up a tight fairway. She seemed to really like my swing and vocalized her delight with a sound rather than words. She doesn't talk much.

After the tour of the back nine, I was finished.
