Dot Is Super Active Tonight!
Had my mind blown at the amount of walkers tonight on Dot, I saw almost 10 within a 30 minute period around 9:45pm or so. I traveled a loop from the 93 overpass to Fields and circled around and there were less, but different ones! Wow, the cool air has really brought them out, Mongers enjoy!
Sunday night. Midnight Run.
Last night decided to go to town, ride a circuit and at the very least do some window shopping, something that I haven't done in a while. Wasn't sure if I actually would go for anything but just in case picked up $70 in cash and tossed it around between my left side pocket and various places inside the car which would be out of reach and field of vision from the passenger seat.
Arrived downtown just pass midnight, zipped around Mobil – nothing, so went down Berkley. There is an intense night road work taking place right around the area of 7/11 all attended by LE galore so that section is definitely out of service for the foreseeable future. Went back towards the Mobil and crossed over to Dot.
They sure are there. Mostly are quite f-able but couple of them did make me think how much I would charge them to have sex with me and how desperate would I have to be to actually consider such a proposition. The numbers that kept popping into my head were '3 years of sex deprivation' and something way over a $1000.
Still, went up and down the Dot three times and always came across some fresh faces. The first one I saw I was driving along the warehouse / machine shop row which comes right before Andrew. A widebodied fair looking red head crossed the street right in front of me. Looked the part but wasn't sure if she was actually working or just getting out work already changed for a party. No look, no glance, so not sure. Didn't go back to make sure too.
There was always at least one new face right before or right after the bridge which comes soon after the Andrew station. Sometimes they could even sit on the steps of the homes that come right before the bridge. Once, just as I passed the bridge going outbound a brunette tried to flag me. I recognized her from the backpage: real skinny, real oval face, and a pretty long nose. An ash black hair seemed unnaturally wide and looked kind of funny and could've been a wig. I think she used to advertize from either Rockland or Brockton and I thought I remembered reading some not so flattering of the reports on her on USG.
Then, there was a stocky really petite provider, with a huge chunk of beautiful black hair dropping pass her shoulders confidently marching along right after the busy Irish bar. Not bad face / body. I slowed down a bit but everything about her demeanor pointed that in her previous life she was most likely a boxer so I moved on.
The heat was sure on between Sunoco and the Field's Corner Tadeschi. I usually turn around in the Auto Zone parking lot but this time there were 2 cruisers blocking my way. At one point I counted at least 3 locations with LE parked just in that small section. There was one particular cruiser who was obviously on 'the monger hunt' hiding in a small parking lot on the outbound side which gave the cop good field of vision with limited opportunity to be seen.
Around that area I also saw couple of pretty BSWs giving me 'the look'. Both wore somewhat traditional long dresses and seemed similar in many ways, even build-wise and face-wise. In fact despite of the two walking separately they even made me think that they could be sisters. There was also something either Caribbean or African about them, not particularly African-American. In fact I wish I could stop for the petite prettier one but she was nodding to me walking right in between the two police cruisers! Wow, baby, you're out of your sunny Nigeria or jovial Trinidad – get that calypso music out of your head! You're in the country of the strict rule of law here – you got to be smarter then that!
The other thing: around the same section I saw a pretty and skinny Asian or Amerasian girl in pink t-shirt with gorgeous black hair falling down to her waist side walking along with a tall tough looking black dude in white t-shirt whose stride literally screamed that he was not coming from Wellesley. They turned onto the street that comes right before East St. Was that the girl that is often referred to here as 'the Asian Nicole'?
As I was traveling inbound on Dot for the second time I stopped at the red light. There was a tall, skinny and suspicious looking white guy chatting up a driver in a black pickup truck in front of me. The light turned green, the pickup truck moved on, and the tall white guy turned and began walking towards me as I was closing my windows and pushed to lock doors. As I passed him I heard wh-wham! The car shook as the guy forcefully whacked on the side of it! Thank God that his punch landed right in between the front and the rear windows too! Got to be careful, gents. There is a whole wide and angry world out there.
It was approaching 1:30am. I got my fix of the street and was ready to be heading back home. Once again, they are out there. In three trips up and down the Dot from Andrew to Field's corner I saw somewhere between 10 & 15 f-able faces who were obviously working.
Before getting on the interstate, pretty much as an afterthought, I decided to make a circle that I usually no longer do – go up Washington, turn left on Boylston and come back Harrison. I crossed Kneeland and approached Beach. To my surprise I saw a dirty blond girl leaning on a street poll with a pimpish looking black guy hanging around. I pulled closer – goodness gracious – it was Sam!
Many of us here know Sam. She used to see people in Chelsea, then I think she moved to Rockland. The last I heard she was back in Chelsea again. Good looking girl but she is a really really nice kid. About a year and a half ago when she was still living in Hotel Stanley I brought her over to my place. A good kind 23-24 year old who would always go extra mile to give you good time and who you wish you could 'save' but just one look at her and you know that this person is doomed forever to remain a nice girl but a victim.
There are many type of great providers I've seen. Many were confident, and quite unapologetic about their choice and had other lives besides 'providing' as well. Then there are those that kind of fall into it and they wish that they didn't but they are there now and it seems to them as the only way and an easy way to make money and they know that they are doomed and, baring a miracle, they'll never get out. That to me is Sam. I thought that way about her when I saw her year-and-half back too. I hope I'm wrong in everything that I just said with all my heart.
I pulled over and rolled down the window: 'You're Sam, right? ' She nodded affirmatively. 'You want me to get in? ' I pushed to unlock but she wouldn't let go of the outside handle and after several fruitless attempts to get her in I got a bit paranoid about standing in the heart of the old Combat Zone with an obvious looking hooker pulling on the handle of my car door and said: 'No, it's ok' and drove on. I made couple of circles, unsure whether to try again, and on the 4th time with pimpish looking black guy no longer there I unlocked the door and Sam got in.
Needless to say she didn't recognize me. The conversation was short but her energy was still nice, and she still looked ok, and I knew that if take her home Sam would do her best to make sure that I was a happy man. I told her that I hear a lot about her still. But she looked either drugged up or incredibly tired and it was really late and there was not too strong but still distinct smell of alcohol coming out of her mouth. That is a huge turn off for me. Unless I myself have been drinking that smell inevitably takes my jolly roger down. I thought it over and said 'No, you know what, here is $10, I'm going to drop you off'. Postfactum, I would regret that I didn't give her $20. Next time I see Sam I'll make sure that I give her some more cash, even if I would not be in the mood to do anything. She didn't appear too happy about my change of heart but still asked me for my number. She used to have it but this time I shook my head 'no'. 'Then, ' she went, 'you can find me here, ok? ' Before getting out Sam learned over and appeared to be really eager to kiss me on my lips. She still smelled of alcohol and I really didn't feel like kissing her but I also felt that this was not the time when I should be refusing too so I leaned over and reciprocated. There are those that make your heart bleed. I guess Sam is one of those that have that affect on mine. I also know for a fact that in that I'm not alone. In fact far from it.
Took left on Kneeland and had a pretty contemplative ride home.
