They don't post everyday but often enough that can get an idea of who is working regularly and how they look.

I have been going to dollies for years. I picked one of these stripclubs at random after hearing about the behind the beads specials. I usually go to Huslter first to grab on some hot chicks and then head to dollies to finish up. To be honest, the whole washington park scene still puts me on edge. I'm not a large man and I have heard of some violence at these clubs, though I am not sure how much of that is true. Because of this, I always stick to Dollies, but I want to try other clubs in the area. I always come in the day time, I'm usually gone by 5 pm.

What is the deal with the rest of these clubs?

Do they all do behind the beads like Dollies?

Are some more or less expensive or with hotter chicks than Dollies?

Are any of them more or less safe than others?

Do any of them have a more private room than Dollies? That tiny cubicle and beads are terrible. I wish it at least went up another 3 feet.

Go during the afternoon shift and you will be fine: they have a fenced in lot and a couple of big guys that keep an eye on everything. If you've got any game at all you will leave very happy. You can get the same services at the other club's as you do at Dollies, but it will probably cost you a lot more.

There can be better looking girls at the other clubs, but it's really hit or miss.

Dollies is the least private. Cmoes isn't all that private, but better than Dollies. All the others have a private room.

[/QUOTE]If you go during the daytime probably all the clubs are fairly safe with Dollies probably be the least safe because of its location and parking lot. If you are comfortable going there during the day then the other clubs shouldn't be an issue.

Years ago there was a series of armed robberies at Dollies, Blondies, City Nights, C-Mowes, and the Chameleon Club which is long gone. One guy got shot and killed on Dollies' parking lot another guy was found dead in his car at City Nights. The clubs picked up security some, the local LE patrolled heavy and things calmed down. Then a few years ago there was a spat of more armed robberies. Guys got mugged in the parking lots at C-Mowes from people who had hid by the burnt out shell of the Chameleon Club, another guy got robbed at Blondies or Dollies and maybe more. I'm thinking they wound up arresting a couple local WP guys. I've not heard of any violent incidents since then but you just never know. You're in an economically distressed neighborhood where people know you are probably carrying a nice amount of cash before entering the club. The WP clubs have all improved their security over the years with all of them except Dollies surrounded by security fencing now. I'm pretty sure they all have security cameras watching their parking lots now too.

When I recommend the WP clubs to someone I do usually mention to be security conscious. Not trying to scare anyone but don't want someone to blindly bumble themselves into a bad situation either. I've been going to the clubs for quite awhile and not had a problem. I've showed up at Dollies late night or early morning depending on your point of view and haven't had any issue. It is just best to be cautious and conscious of your security when going to the clubs. When you pull into a lot pay attention to who and what is around, park close to the door, go directly inside, don't waste time in your car fucking around, and then get in there and have a fun time. When you leave, especially late at night make sure the security knows you're leaving. At Dollies the security guy or guys will usually walk out with you to make sure nothing happens. The other clubs also usually have door and lot security guys who do try and keep an eye out for trouble.

I don't know why I keep fooling myself with thinking that the strip clubs in Washington Park are worth the effort. I am disappointed every time. Today I found myself in downtown St. Louis at 9:00 on a Friday night with nowhere to be, so I decided to try again. When will I learn? Dollies had quite a few cars in the lot and when I walked in there seemed to be a few people there who were not the typical employee / house rat. The flea market was still there -- who buys their shit? There were maybe 6 girls (all AA). Two very fat women were on the stage, just laying down. I bought a drink and sat at the bar for about 15 minutes before realizing that it was not going to get any better. Blondie's had a packed lot with nowhere to park. I could have parked on the street, but it would have been almost a block down and I wasn't interested in walking it. Plus, it's not my favorite club. So I headed to Wise Guys.

There were some promising looking women there. On the main stage were three AA dancers who were practicing their moves. Two old fat ones were showing the ropes to a young pretty one, apparently she was fairly new. But I was there for more than 30 minutes and they stayed up there just walking on the stage, showing her how to hold the pole and spin around it and stuff. No dancing, no stripping. I waited for some of the other girls there to take a turn on the stage, but none of them did. There were a few I'd have taken for a ride, but not without the chance to see them move and interact at the stage. After about 30 minutes I left and walked across the street to Cheeks. It was worse, with literally no one there but the bartender, the door guy, a house rat at the bar, and me. Didn't see a single dancer. I turned around and walked back to my car and left town.

I've been spoiled by better places, and can't seem to get past the memories of the heyday of East St. Louis. I don't know when I'll be in the area again, but I'm going to try to remember the lesson from the past three trips.
