There are so many Green Card Marriages the INS would never be able to monitor them. Our country has so many other problems to deal with and a GC marriage is nothing. It would take them too much money and time to pursue these marriages. I am a supporter of these marriages. A marriage is to have companionship and to help your companion out. Isn't that what they are doing?

Since 911, INS has no choice but to pursue all possible fraud marriages. Some of these girls are using other peoples identities.
Green Card Marriages have nothing to do with 911. That was all about terrorism, not Bar Girls. Since 911 INS has laid off on fraudulent marriages. If INS was concerned about Bar Girls they would have never aloud these Bar Girls from Korea to come to the US without visa's.

Watched the game at evergreen. Liq. Comm. made an appearance. We moved to maya's after the game and it seems like the korean grapevine gave them the scoop. All the illegal girls were gone. Mama sent them home. I guess they know they are being watched.

bars have to watch for both lc & vice. when you apply for your liquor license, you have to show a layout of the premesis, which includes all games machines, booths / tables / bar / couches, etc., rooms, karaoke machines. once it's submitted and approved, you can't deviate w/o lc approval. inspectors coming in are checking the layout, **** drinking, serving drunk patrons, timecards, girls having the correct cards (server, hostess, dancer, manager), violation of lc rules regarding what the employees are doing in the bar. they can and do check out the rooms to see what is going on in there and issue citations.

Some of these girls have messed up visas. And they over stay and get band from coming back into the U.S. for 10 years so they get new identities. I know of a few BG that did this to get back into the U.S.

Good points. South Koreans can come to the US for 90 days without a visa and then just stay and try not to get into trouble. Many others come with a student visa and take ESL classes at a community college if they even bother with that. Others buy visas on the market for around $10K USD.
I know several Koreans who have lived in the US for over 8 years and came here with tourist visas. Many of them have no desire to get a green card because there are so many others without them.
Also - a lot of the working girls will carry a fake ID with them. Then if they get arrested they just use the fake ID and never show up for their court date. Buy a new fake ID and go on with their life.
