Memphis police arrested at least six suspected prostitutes Wednesday in an operation that targeted sex for sale on the Internet.

Police also seized the car.
Other suspects arrested during the operation were Crystal St. Pierre, 27, Tracy Myers, 20, and Patti Jones, 34.
All were charged with prostitution near a church or school, which carries mandatory jail time for a conviction.

These changes may be very bad for hobbyists because the fierce competition on craigs list was a factor in keeping prices low and made some of the girls who were asking $200 or even $300 for an hour lower their price to compete. In some cities the girls are just advertising in different sections of craigs list, like theraputic services or casual encounters - those sections don't require a credit card yet. We need to get the word out that girls can tell people they are available on this site.

There's a reasonable fee involved, but once you're a member then providers who are members can basically "certify" that they've seen you, and other providers who want to check your references can do so on the site.
