Unless you knew this girl previously, I believe you may have taken a serious risk by agreeing to anything through your window. Putting aside any common "rules of engagement," most SWs know that most men will not discuss anything with a SW through the window. Personally, if the girl either does not immediately get in the car or if she asked me to roll down my window, I move on to the next girl.

If I may give an example, my most recent date was perfect, but it started with a bit of anxious moments. I posted about it previously but to make a long story short, I waved a girl who I thought was a SW to my car. Instead of her going to the passenger door, she came to the driver door. I started to get a bit anxious that I may have made a big mistake. I made another gesture to get in the car and she came around to the other side and got in. We did a LE check and the rest is history.

I am pretty positive this was a sting but what gives me pause is that the girl got in the car then got out after the sting. Normally, one would think that LE would not take that kind of risk to place a decoy under any possible danger.

Could you tell if the girl and guy made "small talk" outside of the car first? How much time past between the time the girl got in the car and the time LE swooped in? Did the car move at all?

The only time I ever saw a sting was a time when I went into DD. I got back into the car and saw a SW come up to a car to my left. She talked to the guy, through the window, for maybe 10 seconds and then LE swooped up behind the guy's car. That is about as close as I want to get to a sting.

I have never heard of a actual confirmed case where the decoy got in the car & drove off. I have seen where the decoy will step in the car & the cops will bust the guy before he drives off.

[/QUOTE]I'd say it is extremely rare during a sting for a female officer to enter a vehicle and drive off in it. More likely for a reverse sting (cop is the john) to allow a SW to enter his car instead. Too many dangers letting a female undercover cop get into a car with a unknown guy.

I've seen, and also heard, that the warrant detail (usually driving unmarked dark colored SUVs) will stake out a SW or SW hotspot and wait for someone to pick up the girl. They'll then swoop in and make a traffic stop. They'll either try and get the bust for solicitation if the guy is stupid enough to cop, or at least they will have the chance to run the guy for warrants, and if he has any, arrest him. I've seen it at least two times, where the SW is let out of the car straight away after the stop and told to beat it. The warrant detail seems to have been focusing purely on the johns, and could care less about the SW. I guess they figure they know where they are and can pick them up anytime if they have a warrant.

I was thinking the same thing too about them putting a ULE girl in that much "danger" but I saw it with my own two eyes. I have decided to start going down and watching the ULE to see what I can figure out they are up to. With my JD and a few shop owner friends who would vouch for me I will be fine.

Great info, just shows not only do you not talk thru the window, but if LE is going to get this aggressive just to bust a John, best to keep your mouth shut as long as you can.

After getting stopped a few times over the years after just making the pick-up, I've made it a habit to never ever discuss services or pricing until I know (a) she def is not a cop and (be) nobody followed me after the pick-up and feel safe. If a girl gets in and questions what I want or money my answer is usually lets just small talk for a few blocks till I feel 100% comfortable with you. If we don't agree I won't waste your time and will take you right back. This usually goes well with the girls and if they insist then I let them out right then and there.

I've reported on some stings myself in the past and great to see someone else doing so as well.

Yes, waiting a SW to be picked up seems the likely scenario.
