I just completed session at albany sun spa. Far more convenient to go here than all the way down central to GS. Was greeted by mamasan who collected house $.65 hour fee and led to one of the many rooms they have. This is converted office space on the cheap right downtown on pearl street (not to be confused with AMP near cap rep theater). Attendant enters and she remembers me from GS. She was maybe 40ish average looks but, friendly and smiling. Very solid massage working out all kinks with the occasional incidental contact but not sensual throughout. More therapeutic. She goes from head to toe and then fetches a hot towel and clears all the oil away, places a towel over me until I am completely dry and then removes. She proceeds with a very teasing light touch tracing her fingers about my entire body and then working to my special areas. The sensation of her tracing is enhanced being I am completely dry from the oil. After 2-3 minutes of this she requests I flip. Otf, I direct her hand to what I wanted and she grabs some oil and completes the deed. Atf? I did not see any other attendants but, where there was one former GS lady, there are probably more. I would gather, they might be a bit careful with new unknown clients so be sure to follow standard AMP protocol

Thanks[/QUOTE]To each his own here but, the very first time I went to an AMP I didn't want to tip until the end. Who wants to be ripped off, right? But, nothing happened. I was bummed because I had read on some board that there was action there. I reported my disappointment and the seniors told me she was probably too scared because she didn't see the tip. The tip on the table is a signal that they all understand. Plus it makes it so you don't have to ask for anything illegal and they don't have to make sure you are going to pay them. Also, they know that you are experienced. Another tip I found is sometimes if you go to an AMP they will ask "first time here?" once or twice I said yes and was disappointed / overcharged. Now, I just laugh and say "oh no, not at all" They have no idea and now they feel more comfortable and they are less likely to overcharge.

As far as the minimum tip. I understand your point and I used to wrestle with it. But, yes usually $40 is the minimum and if I get beat at least I didn't jeopardize myself by saying something like "here's money for a HJ" or whatever. For me, it's worth it to lose a few bucks then deal with that potential horror.

I checked out this place this morning. Got a 30 min massage for .50 and left a .40 tip. I won't go back.

Hey guys, After a night of driving all over looking for the AMP in Schenectady I drove to the one on South Pearl St. I looped around for a few minutes because I didn't know where it was. I read the review and it states the door to the right of the pizza place so I was looking at a big red door. So I finally parked and started walking to the door then I saw another gentleman walk towards the same but he walked to a door next to the pizza door. We chatted for a second and we stood at the door for a minute bc we didn't know we had to open it we thought it was locked. So we walked in and took the elevator separately.

I'm not sure who he got but I got Cindy. Despite previous reviews about her I didn't think she was that bad. A little older but ok. I paid for an Hour it was. 65$ I got ready and she went to town. She covered me with a towel and I thought it wasn't going to go well. She asked medium or hard I said hard. It really wasn't that hard but then again I have a tough skin and body. My only issue is that I keep tell them not to touch my damn feet bc I'm ticklish. Overall it was good I tipped her. 40$. Made a stop in at GS today. Early aft. I was hoping for my pick of girls. Seems no matter how many might be there I never see more than 1.
