FALL RIVER —

Three women are facing prostitution charges as police continue to target such illegal

Activity across the city.

Police spokesman Detective J. D. Costa said Nina Ann Monis. 25, of 2651 S. Main St,

Jessica Dosvais. 31, of 476 Snell St, and Samantha Lee O'Donnell. 28, of 372 Pine St,

Were each charged with sexual conduct for fee Monday evening.

Costa said Monis and Dosvais were observed approaching vehicles operated by lone male

Occupants in the area of South Main and Hamlet streets by Detective Sgt. Andrew Joseph and

Detective Gregory Wiley around 5 pm Costa said Wiley overheard a conversation the women

Were having with one of the motorists leading to Joseph approaching the pair in an unmarked

Vehicle. During that encounter, Costa alleged, the two women offered sexual services to Joseph

In exchange for money leading to their arrest.

About 30 minutes later, Costa said, Detective James Elumba was in the area of North Main and

Maple streets when he allegedly observed O'Donnell signaling to lone male motorists and then

Engaging in conversation.

This led Elumba, who was driving an unmarked vehicle, to approach O'Donnell, who allegedly

Offered her services to the officer.

The reports and stings seem to be during the day more and more. The Fall River I knew and love was always a later night crawler kinda spot. I think the problem is that a lot of us are there the wrong time and when better street smart gals are out.

The obvious stay in the same spot and flag cars down is not what I look for anyway. Low profile low key the best for her and for me.

Took a cruise around the Morgan St, Second St area Friday about 7PM there were two unmarked LEO's cruisng in and out of the side streets. A blue Crown Vic and a black Impala. Noticed the blue police plates. After I saw the second one I left the area.

Have you ever been a subject of a traffic stop for your plate light being out, only to discover after he leaves that the lights on your car are all working properly. They make stuff up to justify the stop, and then they go fishing. Troopers are famous for this. My opinion is that a cop who behaves this way is as corrupt as the cop who takes payoffs to look the other way. Just my 2 cents.

I had some buisness in NB on Wednesday, an thought I would do a few laps, didn't have any money, but decided to just see what what was out.
