I definitely wouldn't recommend Market Street Cinema based on my experiences there. It's sort of like 3 parts street scene and 1 part strip club. There are many ROBS (rip-off girls) in that place and the management will not rectify a wrong when it occurs. In fact most often I had seen that they will do nothing or even boot out a customer that is irate about a rip-off. There were also hobbyists on the below cited site last year that were discussing an incident in which a knife had reportedly been pulled on a custome by a girl in the lobby of that place.

If you must venture there then at least consult the SF Red Book site at the address below where hobbyists will from time to time post lists of girls that are ripoffs and girls that are straight shooters. I find however that in general there is a correlation between a girl being a ROBS and her being attractive enough to want to spend some time and hard-earned on. There are exceptions of course but a lot of the straights are IMO just not worth it.

I like the AMPS or some of the other clubs have a better ratio of Straights to ROBS that are worth your time and the security is much better.

I'll be joining the various Cali post from now on. I have many messages on the Atlanta, GA forum but as I will be moving to San Jose in July I need to get familiar with the AMPs in Cali. I lived in San Jose from 1998 to 2001 but I never went to the AMPs out there. It wasn't until 2002 in Atlanta that I went to my first AMP. Now I'm addicted for life.

In Atlanta I usually pay $40 for cover and $100-$140 for FS. Is it about the same in Cali? I am a black male and I have had one or two women in the AMPs give me bad service because of my race but for the most part, my dozens of visits have been good. Is there any discrimination in the Cali AMPs? You can check some of my reports in the Atlanta post, I can be trusted.

I've been reading through some of the post here and it seems like it may be mit or miss at alot of the AMPs out there. Is one side of town more open then others? For instance San Fran vs. San Jose? In Atlanta we have a South side and a North side. The North side is expensive and the girls are stuck but very pretty. On the South side the action is always good and cheap but the quality of the women is hit or miss.

When I visit a new AMP, since I am a black male and I have to deal with the sterotypes I usually go in a suit like I just got off of work so not to be confused as a steet thug. I usually touch the girl during the massage and when I'm told to turn over, I usually make eye contact and some hand gestures. When I go to the places where I'm a regular I just give the girl the tip right after the body shampoo, skip the massage and get to business.

Hi. What is the LE scene like in San Fran. Are they laid back. I live in Socal and would like to go up to San Fran and check out the AMPs that are supposedly great. I just hope that the LE dont crack down, like they do down in SoCal.

In San Francisco, vice is pretty laid back when it comes to AMPs. There's the occasional bust. Ii think LE spends more time rousting the street girls and johns. Other Bay Area cities seem to be way more strict and have a lot of raids, especially in the South Bay.

San Francisco police leave the AMPs alone for the most part. South of SF, especially on the peninsula (Redwood City, Mountain View, etc) there have been quite a few busts by law enforcement.

There are so many AMPs in the city that the cops stick to keeping stuff off the streets.

If you do make a trip up to SF, make sure to hit the Golden Flower, the line up of girls is amazing.

Checked out the Market Street Cinema last night. Oh, sure, I want to hook up with a girl named "Scorpion"! No thanks. Had a good time with the ladies although the hustle factor is way high. A condom will, however, help a guy prevent spreading it. Over 25% of people in the US have it or have had it at one point in their lives, whether or not they work in AMP's.
