Went to Just Relax on west side Friday night to see what previous reviews were talking about. They were correct on the $$. 60 just for half hour and $$$ for an entire session! A lot of these places claimed they were providing "bodywork" instead of massage therapy, so that a bunch of regulations didn't apply. Last year, Mesa amended its city code to eliminate that loophole, and otherwise made enforcement easier. For example, no locked doors and more liability for landlords. They are also to provide the city a list of all employees or contractors who provide bodywork or massage services, updated regularly, which will be tough for the places that rotate girls. But they didn't ban bodywork, which can still be performed without a massage license, even though the place will need a business license.
