A truly shockingly resourceful girl. Her mother last years she was too sick to work. She took care of her mother at the house which was a mixture of corrugated tin and scrap wood. With a hardened clay sand mix floor that she actually made herself by taking Riverbank mud mixing it with sand and some other stuff including a tree sap that she collected she would mix that up put it in a wooden form and make these thin brick-like pieces that were about 4" thick and about 12" by 16". This is what she made the floor out of. She even made The Hammocks that her and her sisters and mother slept in. When I met her I took her from the bar that night and took her out to eat talk to her for a long time and she agreed to come spend the night in my apartment. Once for her uncles wedding which wasn't much of a restaurant. And once when the missionary School took them to to eat fast food, it was a big deal to her. And I know some will say oh she's just using you, but you'd actually have to know this girl she definitely is not in fact she contributes takes care of herself now and still is always trying to take care of me too. I changed her life for the better and even if she left me tomorrow I would just be happy to have been able to do that for her. But I know she's not going anywhere. Right now she needs more girls who can sew sadly her standards are so high that it is very hard for her to find somebody with the abilities she requires when making clothing this is why she is slow to grow the business she could be selling 5,000 units or even 10,000 units a month right now as she has so many vendors trying to purchase from her she just cannot meet the demand as she shows most of the clothes herself. Her cousin helps her by cutting fabric, she still likes to dye her own Fabrics with her own personal dyes that she makes from nature, one of her other employees is responsible for helping her make the dyes. And only one a 60 something year old woman who worked in a sewing Factory for 50 years is the only one she will really let sew. Right now she could hire 10 skilled seamstresses if she could find them. Watch, you will be seeing her in Milan at Fashion Week I guarantee it. I'm so happy about this one.
