I agree that the need for having someone nearby may make both Dara and her brother / boyfriend feel better, but that's just not cool IMO. The need for discretion is paramount in this hobby, that's one of the whole reasons these boards exist, so that those of us who are involved can practice the hobby with at least some measure of safety. Having someone at the specific door with a frequency like Jcgarr1 claimed (every 10-15 seconds) is just ridiculous. Get the room next door, walk past the door occasionally without stopping, something like that. Just my thoughts anyway.

Isn't that type of activity by her "protectors" exactly the type of thing that will draw the attention of others. Any LEO who even happened to pass by and see someone listening at the door of a Motel room would almost certainly want to see what was going on. How about the Motel staff? I can say the motel manager or owner, not certain which, walked by the boyfriend several times and even chatted with him. All appeared cordial, if management is aware, he did not appear concerned. I would not think this would be a concern to anyone thinking of seeing her. Up to each individual, I suppose.

Several other providers have rooms there. Management is well aware of what goes on. Their ratings are so low they have no choice but to cater to our hobby. I know that sounds degrading but it is what it is. With it being in a commercial zoned area and right next to the interstate such activities are mostly overlooked.
