I know Vance had some projects back then and I would guess that was why. Some of those projects are gone now and I would guess people migrated east. Today, Vance is a mostly abandoned street today with boarded up houses and empty lots. Not many people in general out on the street now because not many people live over in that area now. I imagine there are a number of other streets that were hot in the 80s but aren't really even worth the effort to scout them for SW activity today.
