It means that no one can take away one's sense of pride, as long as one assesses their own being as worthy of that pride. Thank you for the compliment, because as you note I'm impervious to "the embarrassment" because embarrassment is an emotion imposed within when one lets the perceived judgments of others erode their own sense of self-worth. I'm fortunate to be in a point in my life where the judgments of others have no ability to erode my self-esteem.
(That self-esteem comes from within is also tragic for people with life-challenges due to low self-esteem because no other person can supply that sense of pride, but can only point to reasons the individual should re-assess themselves more highly).

CookyJar also posted discussion topics to his thread from time to time, and between the photo posts & those discussions I recognized a common sentiment. That was a respect & appreciation of the women he encountered, some of whom obviously tugged at his heart-strings. I got the impression that if time & circumstances were different that he might have welcomed an ongoing relationship with some of them.
Now I don't want to overstate things, or put words in his mouth. I know from reading his posts that he still watched out for signs of danger, kept up his guard with the girls to prevent ripoffs, negotiated what he felt was a fair rate for their time, and took precautions to insure his health & safety.
I do all those things to the best of my ability, but I choose to see any girl I meet as a person first. I don't have negative pre-judgments of them. If I did, why on earth would I choose to spend my time & money on them? Call it the benefit of the doubt. And the girl whose behavior aligns with the positive view of them I had of them when we met will be the one I continue to spend my time & money on. Those who show my initial positive assessment of them was in error are ones I will not be seeing again (I may see them, but hopefully they'll understand why I pass them by).

If you're offended by what Laxxx said, remember first that few SWs have a functioning phone. Most don't manage / prioritize their money to maintain a working phone. Some have / had a phone, but by the time you try the number or pass it to another respectful fellow, it has no service. Or they gave out the number belonging to (insert borrowed phone owner here). Or they do have a phone, but also have a jealous BF who's going to be checking up on their calls.
Some are UTR, like the centerpiece of my cautionary tale. Last night I'd already popped with an ATF, but I still went out for a recon drive. So you could have instantaneous real-time reporting of where the girls are, and they'd still be gone before you got to them. So the answer is knowing names, physical descriptions (pics & video would be handy), and where / when the girl is usually out. Then, unlike the Backpage or Craigslist scene, you got to get out where the girls might appear & hunt for them.
