It was a bit of a wreck and didn't feel that safe. I'm not expecting perfection, but almost nobody was wearing masks the second time I went to Palomino. They need to enforce it better. It's really a tricky situation because I LOVE strip clubs. But they haven't showed me they can make it feel safe. So, I can't really enjoy myself like I would like. There's not even a temperature check at them.

People are going to be smoking and drinking. So they won't be required to have masks on and even if they did, you are enhaling smoke that can cary pathogens much better than the random droplets. Temp checks aren't a big thing, dude. I go out all the time, if I'm not going into a casino with their high tech IR cameras, I haven't got one in months (because they aren't very effective and the reliability of the external thermometers aren't the best). If you are that worried about it and have risk categories, the last place I'd be going is smokey strip clubs where the whole point is to be in close contact with women that have touched dozens of guys and also touched women who have touched dozens of guys. If you are on the young side of 60 and in relatively healthy, if I were you I'd get out there and support the place. But you know your situation better than anyone. I know I'm going to support the cause some time this week.

Like Duffman said, temperature checks don't make them much safer. If health is your main concern maybe titties in your face right now isn't for you but hopefully they can show you they are safe LOL. It's going to be a lot harder enforcing mask polices on the strip yet here we are. Coincidentally this is perfect timing for the Raiders game. New Orleans and Texans strip clubs have been open for at least a month. Vegas strip clubs are not the problem.

Keep me posted on how it is there. When I went last time, I did a private with a couple of the girls I know there. Went upstairs. But they were the ones telling me there was a crackdown and they might get shut down from OSHA. That's why I mentioned the temp thing. And what I meant by the masks was more towards when people walked through the club. Not even talking about the dancers. Smoking and drinking is one thing, but it felt like people took their masks off once they got past the door then never put it on again. Even the dancers would put it back on when walking upstairs before the private dance.

I might be completely wrong but my prediction the big ones like Rhino, CH3, Hustler will be open by Halloween. There's too much money being lost regardless on how people feel about the health situation. Maybe tables only and you have a food requirement? LOL Don't know how reliable my source is but she told me that Treasures was trying to rehire and test the service staff by 4th of July a couple months ago.

Or it's still closed? Treasures is one of my favorites. Yeah, I mean, the way the governor is going. He's waiting for a vaccine. Which could be a while. I'll be in LA next week for like a month. And it's really shut down there. I don't know how the strip clubs (and other businesses) will survive. LA is basically still at where they were in March. If bars are opening, I would think strip clubs could open soon in Vegas.

Palomino is opening as bar + lounge at 8:00 PM Monday.
