I've personally had pretty good experience at Shanghai and Best with appointments. I've had one time when I was about 3 minutes late where the girl went off with someone else, but that's it, and that was because the guy showed up right at the appt time and the girl didn't speak English. Appointments work when they do but sometimes / often they do not.
