Its the guaranteed pay (she gets $$ regardless, even if she's shyt) versus pay at risk ($ for the entry fee, easily $ or more for extraordinary performance). This hobby is risky enough as it is, so I try to minimize the risk to my entertainment funds by the lower entry fee .,.,. regardless of her posted rate.
