I agree, the city is really turning to shit. I live on the southwest side and the number of bank robberies, purse snatching and store robberies is getting out of hand. I no longer go the the Pick n Save on 67th and National because of the crime there, last summer i witnessed a woman go after a mother and her young daughter for no reason at all. Along with several others we walked the wonan and her daughter to thier car.

I also agree that where there is a large number of apartments there is also alot of crime. You can't blame it all on the blacks of hispanics. There is a lot or trailor trash in apartments also. Also if is my understanding that there is a drug house around 64th and Morgan.

All of this in your reports seems correct about the city and it's residences. Most of my encounters on the north side the women say they cant find meaningfull employment and have poor work skills for today's job market. Yes, the housing is a mess and the only one who is happy all the way to the bank are the landlords also it dose seem that these people use alcohol or drugs to provide a temporary escape from there poverty life style.
Now the city decides to put on more LE to solve the economic problem "that makes sense?"

Did some evening cruising in the stroll locations east of 43th street only a few what seemed to be SW's were out nothing like several years ago but LE was out in full force with unmarked cruisers which seemed to be pulling motorists over for whatever they could. So far is appears that police state America is only in the intercity. My visit was brief and I drove off cause I wanted to stop into a bar at the extreme west edge of the city "safe area" to have a drink and smoke to relax. It could be the younger girls are still in school and have better access to a computer and have just found an easy way to pay for their education as opposed to a girl who is supporting a drug habit or an illegitimate child.

Encore seems to have more sistas in it now. I know what you mean about the appeal of chocolate. They seem to be a lot hotter these days.
