The Irish River dance is actually a musical deal they do at Busch Gardens. I have seen it before when I was visiting there. Its funny yard monkeys come from all over and now they are even trained to dance.

Mons has always been YMMV. The only way to really get a girl to do the extras there is to get her to meet you outside. 2001 is alot easier to flip tricks in then Mons. I can say Mons says some of the hottest chicks around, but thats do to the ladies know guys will go in there since it has history of being a premiere club.

Looks like there was a bust at the Starlight Friday. MERKERSON,CHANTEL MARIE 09014443 was arrested there. I know the owner and he will crack down on the girls for awhile.

Seems like we just missed one another. I was probably leaving as you were getting there. I too did dances with Ireland. Pretty tame. She used a 'lap rag' as well. I went Monday night around 11pm, and I was in the back room getting dances when the DJ announced they were closing the stage. Needless to say I had a great time. Went yesterday evening, about `10 pm. 5 girls, on average 6, which is an improvement. Everything is possible but $2.5 is too high. You can see up close before you buy, but the wallet keeps the head in check. There are a couple it would be nice to try out, but...

$2.5 is a rip-off. For less then that, you can go to any AMP, get a table shower, massage, and possibly get the full menu, and both of you are both 100% nude in a quiet room with soft music playing. As opposed to just dropping your pants to your ankles, sitting on a hard vinyl chair in a little cubicle with only a curtain giving you privacy and the whole time have some excessively loud music playing mixed in with a boring DJ. Went to Ybor Strip once and spent a little quality time with a nice black girl named Heaven. She took me into a oversized closet in the back with just a curtain over the doorway. I seem to recall she wanted $150 to help me with a headache I was having. I went for it although she did tell me up front that she could only give me medical relief for the length of 3 songs. When that third song was done, so was she. Thankfully I am a fast healer. Dollar for dollar, a MP is your best value.

$2.5 was just right for Lisa at the 7 Seas. Best GFE I have had in Tampa since I moved here.

The room was large enough for a couch and two tables and the door to the room was locked. So it was very private and comfortable.

I am not sure Lisa still works there or not, but I have heard alot of the girls will go as far. None of them I saw were as hot as her.

Anyone know if lisa still works at the Seas?

Much of the same old last two times I was there. Did spend time with one new girl who was interesting in terms of high mileage dances, Honey. Spinner type build, fairly liberal two-way contact. Didn't press for extras but her general attitude was "have fun but don't grope." Saw other fresh faces but didn't catch any names.

Not sure when you went there last or for that matter when I have been in there. So this thought might be a little out dated. But I can't see anyone at 7 Seas pulling in $2.5 for anything. Just being in that place makes me think about needing a hot shower after, just to feel clean again...let alone spending any time with anyone. But as with any place YMMV.

The ASKING price for the VIP was $250 for 30 min -- don't know if the girls were getting that, I've never done a 7 Seas VIP. There may be one or two dancers there who can work at other places and actually make a decent living (I know of one, I'll allow that I may have missed one). The heyday of this place was back in the mid-1990s (two remodels ago) It's probably always going to stay at the same talent level -- sadly so. Maybe I'll stop in next time I'm on that side of Tampa. Doubtful I'll be lured into VIP but at least I can see if the talent level has upgraded. In this economy, one never knows.

I have always exercised extreme caution with regards to VIP rooms, champagne rooms, etc.... The girls will always let you believe that anything goes once you get back there. After forking over your hard earned money, you find out that alot of things are not on the menu. If you cause a scene and try and get your money back, some 300 pound bouncer named Bubba will be escorting you to your car with force if nessasary. They know you are not going to call the cops. You just learned an expensive lesson. Their job is to separate you from as much of your money as possible. Dollar for dollar, your best value is to go to a MP.

If Lisa the Colombian still works there she would worth the VIP. Way hotter than anything on CL. Problem is I don't know if she works there anymore. I saw her about 8 months ago based on alot of recommendations (search Lisa) on this site. She got busted about a month after I saw her so she may have quit or if she still works there, not provide the same service as before. I haven't been back there since, because yes, the other girls were fugly.

Most of the Members of this website are experienced Surfer-dudes. Or they are here to learn how to "surf" various types of waves (AMP's, SW's, SC's, CL's, etc).

As for Strip clubs, I grew up in them, worked in them and played in them for the past 25 years. I have never ever, ever, ever dropped 250 on a VIP and never would!!!

A good example is Mons or 2001. You go in to see some sweet naked pahuni, get the hard sell from the minute you walk in. It's like getting smashed by a wave over and over and over again. Some guys have learned to just say "NO", others have learned to "BS" a dancer for awhile with no intention of the VIP, then there are other guys that lower their head, follow a girl to the back and drop 250 on 20mins of "we can't do that". They leave hard and sad.

Then you have other bars like *****'s; where on a quite night you can by a .20 vip dance, tip a girl .20 - .50 and get just about anything you want.

I travel to 15 different city's ( 4-5 per month) and there are some city's I just don't bother with Strip Clubs.

But no matter where I go, I can't believe the prices some guys will pay to get a light rub or even a rushed HJ in the Champagne Room.

250 - 500 for a VIP experience in a Strip Club - wow. All I can say is save your cash. Buy a ticket to Vegas and take free limo to the Bunny Ranch.

250 - flight
250 - 3 nights in a hotel
100 - food
100 - drinks
500 - F'n a Bunny Ranch Girl

1200 - for a killer weekend

(1) Do not expect success unless you are familiar face. If you are a regular patron of a particular dancer, chances are she may agree to an off campus date. I don't see it happening on a first visit.

(2) Walking into a club and immediately trying for take out will send up all sorts of red flags. Additionally, you need to develop some rapport with the girl. She needs to know and trust you and vice versa. She needs to have some assurance you are not another Craigslist Killer and you need to feel comfortable she will not have her boyfriend/husband/pimp roll you at your rendezvous.

Some dancers moonlight on Craigslist and related sites and they may be more amenable to your advances. But like with any other CL activity, buyer beware.

Seriously, Drew offers good advice. Now, I have scored take out with a few dancers the first time we met in her club but that is not the norm. It takes time to build up that warm and fuzzy feeling before they will consider doing the deed with you. Some will never get to that stage so it will be up to you as to when to cut them off from your ATM.

I did regular lappers off an on with one favorite, who first turned into a wildcat in club then -- after switching to a club with less opportunity for ITC activities suggested getting a room. See her off-and-on (most recently last week). I probably exude that safe roly poly guy vibe so I've done OK on number exchanges without getting that human ATM feeling. Only one was clearly just interested in doing the "hey it's slow, come visit" nonsense. Others have helped me cut down on strip club visits also rack up frequent visitor hotel points.

I did venture down to Tampa on Sat. to checkout YS and left wishing I had just stayed at home. Aside from the aforementioned Chevon, there was not much to see. A few new dancers and if you like them tall with wide hips and plenty of tats, you are in luck. Me, that is not my cup of tea so I was bummed at the lack of talent.

Donnie, manager and closet perv was there as well. He spends way to much time checking the rooms. It is almost impossible to have any fun with him around. I much prefer Chuck and the afternoon shift. He hardly seems to care what goes on. Guess I will just need to start visiting in the afternoons and give the night shift a rest.

Sometimes I go to Bare Assets, in Holiday, just up from Clearwater on 19. Now as clubs go, not bad. Not a lot of pressure and some hot ladies. Last time I learned their very special VIP is $300. It is true they have some hot looking ladies, but then again they may only be models and not really performers.

Much better to go elsewhere, though it is a good place to have a drink and take a look.

I'm friends with a former YS dancer who is a close friend of April, and she told me that she has gone back to Canada for a few months.

The last she heard April was coming back to Tampa in June or July and planned to return to Ybor.

As far as the annoying little man thing, I'm just baffled. Granted, he's basically succeeded in rendering the Ybor Strip forum utterly useless, but it almost seems like it's almost degenerated into a pathology of some kind. You'd think they could find some way to block him...
