You raise a valid point. When reviews are effusive from relatively "green" members I always take what they say with a pinch of salt. Now you'll get the guys who claim they are "long time lurkers" and just posting because they have suddenly been moved to do so by an extraordinary experience. Maybe, but in general I'm skeptical. It would not be hard for management to generate multiple handles and personalities on this board, add a few innocuous generic reports, and then throw out some great tips for all of us to benefit from. The bottom line is that a healthy skepticism will go a long way to keeping your hard earned hobbying dollars where they belong. In your pocket. Until such time as you find someone that deserves them. I know we all have to start somewhere, but in general over time patterns develop and you can, by reading the reports carefully, work out who has an agenda, and who stands to benefit from them. The bottom line is, careful research is very revealing, and extremely beneficial to the hobbyist.

Also, be aware that recommendations are sometimes not what they seem. Either on the board or in-person from mms or pps. Some ladies are working off debts they may owe to management, and hence when pps "recommends" Cici or Kaycee or Lucie he may well stand to benefit from your patronage. Things are not always what they seem.

I'm just curious, how does reviews coming from "new" mongers influence you to suspect that "something does not seem right" at Erma or 201? They all have to start from somewhere right with respect to writing reviews. Is there anything factual or evidential that would invalid the reviews or may lead them as being "most. Are fake" per Mikel1970?

Just wanted to know so I can look out for mis-leading reports.

For awhile and at least once a week we'll see a glowing report for one of these 6 spas and usually from 1st or 2nd time posters.

Don't get me wrong but I have met some hotties at these 6 spas (I go only when a girl is reviewed by known people) but for the most part I have always been disappointed.

I did not say the girls are not hot or provide good service, but those reviewers / reviews ARE suspicious and I pay them no mind.

I also take the reviews, especially from newbies with a lot of skepticism. If the parlor or even the provider has multiple reviews, I will go check it out for myself and see if I get the same treatment and will validate the place or provider. If I went to a new place, I would try it our a couple of times before I post a review.

These guy also try to convince you that they're legit by telling you all the places they've been to but never posted any reviews. LOL.

I don't think we'll see many bad reviews because I don't think mongers want to deal with all the white knights trying to defend the girls, or the girls texting them every 5 minutes demanding they correct the reviews, etc.

Other than maybe 1 or 2 FS spas none of the independents, FS spas or AMP girls know I'm on review sites. When I did posted bad reviews in the past the girls knew exactly it was from me and reached out to complain.

I wanted to be accurate in my description of looks and services so that other mongers could benefit from it. But in recent times, I've been harassed in private by multiple accounts and I am more wary of having retribution exacted by the booker if they ever find out, so I generally don't post reviews anymore and if I do, it's usually from a date that I did not have the appointment.

So when I do have mediocre reviews, I try not to post them immediately or the losers will try to figure out who you are irl by talking to the providers, etc. If you have a rubmaps subscription, just check out some of the reviews and comments by the common stooges that have mostly been banned here. They mention things like meeting up with other mongers and drinking beers in the lobby of the parlor, going golfing together, etc. While leaving several 5 star reviews a week for the same 1-2 places and defend the spa / provider if anyone leaves a non 5 star review.

I even got roasted by mamasan for putting a mediocre review before. But I go there because it's relatively close to my home, it's clean, and the girls are usually top notch with some exceptions. When certain other spa reviews were still allowed on this website, we rarely got reviews of Erma. Since the bans of other spa reviews, Erma is suddenly amazing with sometimes 2-3 x per day reviewers?! I still occasionally visit and the spa girls are not better than before. Those reviews, especially the volume of them and suspicious similarities in style lead me to conclude they are indeed at the very least falsely motivated. At worst, they are from the same person.

Regardless, they are certainly fake. I paid hard earned money to find out.

A lot of popular spas encourage mongers to write 5 star reviews. I've seen some reviews of girls within a few hours of the spa owners sending their "new girl x, why, z available" mass text messages to their regulars. Which also makes me think that some reviews are posted by mongers before even seeing the providers in person but just do help drive traffic to their favorite spa (s).

I've personally been offered house fee discounts to submit reviews but I just act ignorant / let them know I don't write reviews.

Some comments / reviews on rub maps suggest that some of these mongers take it as far as reading other (mediocre) reviews together with the providers to see if they can figure out who it was that wrote the review which to me is insane and discourages people from sharing honest reviews.

Unfortunately a lot of mongers fall in love with the pussy they are paying for and start acting like teenagers on these sites to defend the spa / providers honor if someone doesn't leave a perfect review.

Good day gentlemen. Many of you who have read my reviews of late will know that I have stayed close to home and focused my visits to a single AMP. This AMP has been good to me most recently in that they have provided an array of new talent to try and some of them have become favorites of mine. Recently, a number of respected forum members have reported very different experiences to mine, not so much in the type or quality of services they received, but specifically with management taking advantage of them and performing the universally hated Bait and Switch. As a fellow monger, I completely understand the terrible taste that a BandS leaves in the mouth. I hate a BandS as much as everyone here. I feel a bit of responsibility in the terrible customer service that my fellow mongers experienced because I repeatedly extolled the quality and service that I received. In doing so, some of these affected mongers may have been influenced to try this AMP. Because of that, I've made two decisions that I will share.

1. I will continue to frequent the AMP that has treated me well, but seemingly not given the same treatment to other. I will, however, no longer post those experiences. If others would like to inquire on my continued experiences there, they may do so via PM. I will only cease to frequent that establishment until either their quality and selection drops or I am wronged similarly to the fellow mongers who reported BandS.

2. I will take a break from reporting my AMP experiences, in general, regardless of the establishment. This is because I do not want to give others hope that they will receive identical treatment to mine. I do not want to be responsible for others not having a good experience or feeling like they wasted their money.

Lastly, an unrelated note. I have recently received multiple emails indicated that many forum members attempted to send me PMs and that my inbox was full. I have recently cleared out many old PMs now for those of you who were trying to reach me.

FWIW: I sent a strongly worded text message to the A-Z number letting the owner / MMS / whomever know in no uncertain terms, that if you ever want / expect me to make the long drive down to your business, then I want recent accurate pics of both Baby, & lily. They didn't bother responding to my text. So as far as I'm concerned, they can F- off and I'll continue taking my business elsewhere. If I miss out on a rocking hottie, that so be it.

Bottom line: We're all big boys here and we can all make our own decisions. Personally, it really doesn't matter to me (they hype / reviews posted for certain girls) l, because when I show up at an AMP and I don't like what I see, or I'm not feeling it, then I'm bailing, regardless. Yeah, B&S sucks and it's an unacceptable tactic in which I have zero tolerance for. B&S aside, it's always a calculated risk with these girls, whether you find 1 you can click with on a hot porn star level with with true GFE Passion.

I've had some very enlightening conversations with a few of the really hot AMP ladies here in SD County over the past 3 years. & It's no surprise to me, why, some of these ladies don't click with some of the bland, grotesquely out of shape, unhygienic guys here (sorry but it's the harsh truth). I personally really enjoy sharing and writing long romance novels, after fucking some of these hot sexy ladies I've connected with- Mina, Cici, Sophia, Cici (Erma) Lily, just to name a few. If some of the guys here think I'm exaggerating with the reviews I write. And are unable to make the same type connection, there isn't much I can do about that, that's on you. And I don't really give 2 F's. The sad reality is, that some of guys, no lady is ever going to connect with, or feel any deep true GFE passion for.

LOL.[/QUOTE]Instead of pessimistic doubter, I prefer "realistic" Mina is definitely my top 2 of all time in San Diego and I saw her maybe a dozen times while she was active at spring valley with plenty of great "GFE" times.

I just treat the hobby as a business transaction moreso than a lifestyle. You will never see me bring bottles of champagne, lingerie, chocolate from my recent vacation spot, etc. To a spa / provider. I'm perfectly happy with the physical connection and don't need or even want the additional baggage that comes with being actual friends with the providers. You will never see my hanging out in a lobby of a spa just because I have free time.

If you do, more power to you and I actually appreciate the fact that you mentioned not going back to AtoZ because of the lack of communication, etc. Unlike some of the mongers / reviewers get too personal with the spa / providers and then start defending them as if it's their personal business.

I guess that's the main difference in personalities though. When I have PSE / GFE providers, the last thing I want to do is shout it from the mountain tops for all to hear because I know that 99% of the other people will not get the same experience.

You know I always appreciate your reviews and PMs sharing information on some of the magnificent finds you've made and, unselfishly, shared. I can already hear some of our fellow mongers ticking away at their keyboards about how we're stroking and sucking each other off, but nothing is further from the truth. There is no shame in saying, "I appreciate you" to someone who has impacted this hobby so positively for me. Speaking of which, I don't try to ever knock anybody here, even when the shills ran rampant, I knew there was at least some value for me in what they were saying. I never had a bad experience when I visited one of the locations they shared. I tried to stay away from the personal attacks and steered clear as much as I could from the drama. I don't come here to $hit talk or berate and demean my fellow mongers. I try to make the best of the forum and my fellow mongers. I don't need drama. That's the reason why I decided, earlier, to take a break. I just don't want to put myself in a situation to have to defend my reviews, be they romance novels or not, defend my taste, or defend my decision making. Like you said, we're all big boys and capable of making decisions. So, maybe I folded too quickly because some gentlemen posted reviews, after mine, to give a different account of their experiences but I will never deny my experiences are accurate, true, and not exaggerated. Perhaps I have a more eloquent writing style that seems to give off a romance novel vibe but I won't apologize for that either. Again, nothing I said was an exaggeration.

I genuinely do appreciate the feedback from Reds, but I must say I do not agree that a review should only consist of "physical looks, services received, money spent, and maybe a few lines on personal experience". With the exception of money spent, all those criteria are just as subjective as my romance novels are to someone else. For example, what good is someone's rating of physical looks to me when your 10 could be my 7, or vice versa. The same goes services received and personal experience. It's not like we're just listing the service we received, 99% of reviews discuss not just the service but it's quality. That is a other example of subjective opinion creeping into the review as your "phenomenal blowjob" could be a "meh blowjob" to me.

Everyone should be free to post the review, the criteria, the writing style that they choose. I don't make this argument in defense of myself or my posts. I make this argument to support the variety of communication that we choose to believe or not. You all get to choose how you write reviews. You all get to choose what reviews you believe. You all get to choose when you walk into an AAMP, and when you walk out. That's what I like about the forum. It's a gathering place for like minded gentlemen. It's a place to share experiences and ideas. It's a place to learn about aspects of the game you may not have explored.
