Then later drop 100 due to competition and the drama over calling cops on the competing shop, which shut down the competition eventually, but also put KGFE on the map with the police. But I just ran into one for incall that requires it and like saying how much they need this. But if you really needed the money you wouldn't lose the chance cause of it for an incall. To me it's always a red flag. And I don't care how much they try to guilt you into thinking it's a money thing. It could be for 1 dollar deposit and on principle I'll pass.
Unless it's a higher tier touring provider with a solid reputation, or I'm the one asking for outcall not near their location, I never provide a deposit. There simple are too many options that don't require this, and far too often the deposit stories end poorly for the sender. There are a few local exceptions the woman requires deposit and known to follow through though doesn't mean there isn't the chance it goes south on you.
