Drove the stroll (between 36th and Wealthy) yesterday for 2 hours (6:00-8:00 PM). Only 1 WSW & 2 BSW. Did a couple of passes today before work and during lunch, only 1 WSW. Keep in mind that this is a criminal charge. You are best to keep your mouth shut completely. They have you on tape, and anything you say will be held against you (duh). The cop is not your friend, your buddy, or on your side. He will try to make you open up and talk. Do not do it. Since it's a criminal charge, this also means you are allowed a jury trial and court appointed attorney. Anything that you can do that will cost them money, especially in this economy, do it.

The reason for this is that if you get found guilty, you are looking at maybe a couple hundred dollar fine, court mandated classes (total joke, and just gave me an excuse to drive a few blocks more and mongor) , possible SO status (depending on the charge-you can HOPE for only solicitation to commit an illegal act and avoid this) , and probably not any more jail time than when you were arrested. Even if they were to find you guilty, the hope here is that the prosecutor will look at the case, realize that the city is going to spend probably a thousand or two on your public defender, court time, jury time, etc, and either dismiss the charges completely, or plead you out. Financially, this is cheaper for the city. There is no reason you should end up on the SO registry if they decide to plead it and not dismiss. That should be your main concern if it gets that far. You don't want it to follow you for the rest of your life, just because you are patronizing a SP.

Bottom line is that fining you is an income stream for the city. They don't give two shits about you, the girls, or whether what you did hurt anyone. The way out of it is to disrupt that income stream and not make it worth their time. Just my $.02
