Just a bit of advice. I posted in this thread before about how LAPD vice and Ped team work. Please check it out from time to time for your info and safety.

Also, as far as the grey truck goes; just be advised that the places we monger along the Fig and Western / Jeff track are monitored by Southeast Division. 77th division and Southwest division LAPD. They work independently of each other on different tac channels. They DO NOT share the same pool of cars. Each division has its own vice team and they use money from their own vice "secret service" funds. The money is used to rent cars.

The LAPD guys will almost always rent cars from Enterprise and they will remove the stickers or license plate frames that say "Enterprise". The cars are usually very recent makes / models and in good condition. They turn these cars in once a week or sometimes once every two weeks to change the looks.

So when you guys are out mongering; don't concentrate on what other mongers describe cars as. These cars always change. Be aware of your environment and look for things that seem out of place==think with your big head before the little one, listen to your instincts. Try to have fun.

I don't want to raise too much alarm, but last night corroborated what Walter has said in many previous posts about the recent fuzz escalation. I'd be especially careful on FIG for a while.

At the very least, I'd say, don't run the track all night, and don't vulture-circle the corners to get a better look at the goods. I'd stay away from anyone standing in the same spot if you can.

Basically, I saw a LOT of LE cars. Many hiding with lights down, many crusing the strip. But also the general maneuvering of the LE cars seemed suspicious, driving very slow at times to force traffic to pass in front of their watch, and other times zipping around like they were ready to pounce. In particular, I kept seeing the same dirty blonde female cop, riding passenger, first by FIG, then all the way over by Western. I was under the impression that FiG and Western had their own patrols, but this car was definitely all over the place, maybe even following me.

Also, if you notice my last post, I had a great catch on Western two nights ago. Went by there last night and in the EXACT same spot (across from that Hotal with the Fox) there was a an Older Large Black woman civilian in a bright Yellow windbreaker (She looked like that Aunt Madea hag from the Tyler perry movies). She was standing, arms folded, scoping out the area. She was either some uppity community member on neighborhood watch or a security guard for the hotel. Came back later and she was still there but on the other side of the street.

In addition to these empirical observations, I also just got baaaad vibes.
