Need To Make A Correction!
I know this is not that important, but I got a PM from Giani & Mr. Boombastic, about "Never to park on a One-Way street." Well, I should have said, "Never to Park on a Dead-End-Street". Most people know this, but just in case, let me correct this. Even on a One-Way you should still use cautious, because you are parked in one direction, and can only see traffic coming from your rear, along with people walking up to you.
As a Senior Member along with many others, we have been doing this for a very long time, and we all have our methods that work for each of us. We can write a "How To" book, and each one be different, with across the board rules. We have also done everything across the board, on and off the streets. And we know all the rules of every game. But be certain that there is always something new, and we are always open and happy to get new information on any new part of the SW game. So don't ever think we know it all, or have heard it all. We welcome your post and PM's to us.
If you are not a street Cruiser, and want to become one, it will take a lot of time, to become one. There is so much for you to learn. You can't learn it all in a few week of sometimes a full summer. It is according to how much time you are willing to spend to learn. And to some, the streets are too tough for them. There is no time limit to learn, but the more you try the more you learn, and you will be ripped off at some point, but the main thing is to avoid LE, Stings, being followed, etc., etc.
So if the street action does not thrill you, then stick to what does. I see more men driving around, that I know are misplaced, don't belong, and are so obvious it becomes comical. LE loves these men, along with the ones who are just plain stupid, in their approach to the game. This is about as bad as the men who cruise/hunt in a commercial vehicle, with the Name & phone number on the truck. You really have to be stupid to use your work vehicle to cruise. LE loves these people too.
Reading the archive is your best bet for learning what to do, and what to avoid. It is a way to avoid asking what has already been answered, in detail.
As for the streets that is where I like to cruise in. I don't much like the more expensive AMP, Escorts, CL/BP Girls, or Web Site Girls. If I got ripped off using them, I'd start a serious fight to get my MONEY back. Homie Don't Play That!
Lately I am seeing a lot of these so-called pimps slapping around their lady. I say lady loosely, abd that they only have one. One girl, can they really be considered pimps.
Anyway, I saw two being slapped around on Central Pkwy, two at Mohawk & McM, and two more down by the Kiddie Park near Dunlap. All the girls were crying and the dude was yelling at the top of their lungs at them. Ity was fairly short lived, and the girls then walked back with them walking about 5-10 ft behind them. Just as a precautions you might want to avoid, these situations, at that time, or there about.
Lastly, if You, only have a short time to cruise, them don't look for much success. It can take a lot of time, and patience.
If you are afraid to leave your car to walk around or walk to the corner store, you won't have much success.
If you can't find a secure place of your own, according to the advise written, you won't have much success.
If you are AFRAID of being around poor Black or White people, then don't do the streets, because you won't have much success.
And if you think reading all the post will make your an expert, then you are in line for failure. Use the advice to help shape your game, not to be your game.
Everyone, has a way of doing their own thing, thus learn to do yours.
SW Wear Glasses & Sometimes Contacts .... but !!!!
Many of the SW's out there wear glasses, which they either keep in their purse/pockets, or leave at home. Many times I have seen them bust out glasses to see things on the streets from a distance.
Many need reading type glasses but more any other type. So they do wear glasses, but your are right, rarely do you see them walking around with them on. With the price of glasses, even cheap glasses, they can not afford to have them stolen, broken, damaged, or lost. If you want to get even with an SW, grab her glasses, break them in half, and she will not be able to replace them for weeks if not months, if she does not have a second pair.
Now remember many also wear contacts, until they are at the full addict level. Wearing contacts needs maintenance, and if they are P/T 'ers they have the time. I know only a hand full of WSW that wear contacts, but many BSW that do. They are decent SW's and are not at the addict level.
As for the West End/McM question I don't quite understand it. The West End is the community, directly to the west of OTR. Or are you talking about driving west on McM. That is easy "Just Drive West", because it ends at MLK, behind the Interstate Motel.
It is Mid month, and the mother's day money is gone, and they won't get anymore till next month. So, this is a time for bargains, and P/T SW's will be Out-n-About. Next week the Summer Heat will be on, and people will be sitting outside. It will be too hot to stay indoor, in most of the downtown Apt. So opportunities are there, but don't be disrespectful.
Don't ask too many questions, stuck to the subject at hand, be bold when asking, so she will know exactly what you are asking about, and make certain you ask what she will NOT do, more than what she WILL. Set a MAX price and start low first to start with. Stay far away from your Max, and be prepare to walk away, if you can't get most of what you want. If they know people will walk out on a deal, they will seriously deal with you, instead of trying to score a Big Fish/Suga Daddy all at once. If they can PLAY-you they will.
Lastly, people if you look out-of-place, chance are you-R!
LE looks for people like yourself. So try to find a reason to be in the area. Eat lunch/dinner, stop at the convenience store, or go property hunting, just look like you are not that out-of-place. I don't advise stopping into the local bars. They will peg you as a cop. Then that will spread, and trouble ahead.
