The guard asked if he had a DUI, he said yes. They turned him around. He then tried to go to a different crossing, with the plan to lie and say that he didn't have a DUI. I believe that the guard said that it was illegal to try and cross again after getting denied and that he could get arrested. Luckily, he just got turned around and went home. I'm guessing that his name was flagged after trying to cross and getting denied the first time. I'm also assuming that your crimes are probably on your file under your name, so lying is also probably a bad idea.

I know Verizon and T-Mobile do. Once you're past 1 gb, they'll throttle your speeds or you have to pay extra to get more. It's been enough for me to explore BC for day and also see a provider.

You might be fine hotel with wi-fi and being careful with your data usage. But I'd probably probably save myself the headache and look into your network provider to see if they offer unlimited data in canada.
