Three coffees in three days
Reading the forum, I was curious about the whole coffee shop scene. So during the course of a week, I visited three different coffee shops and had an iced coffee at each venue. I brought my tablet with me to look as though I was simply there for a coffee break (and not there just to ogle the eye candy), and to entertain myself (in case I got no company).
Cafe Lu: When I visited, business was kind of slow. There were three waitresses on duty: two Asian, and one Caucasian. All of the waitresses were "lean and willowy". Nice muscle tone. One of the Asian waitresses was stunning. The other two were attractive, but nothing to trip over. But all were aloof. I got my coffee order in, and with the exception of occasionally refilling my iced tea chaser. I was left alone. I didn't feel too bad. No one else was getting any individual attention either. There was no indication that any slippage would take place during my visit.
Cafe 168: When I visited, it was rather busy. There were six waitresses on duty. All ranged from "lean and willowy" to "healthy". All of them were attractive. All were attentive in making sure everyone's tea chaser was filled. I noticed that some of the girls did sit down at tables with groups of 4 or more Vietnamese customers, but I didn't get any individual attention. There was no indication that slippage would take place.
GZ Cafe: This place was different in that there were pulses of fast and slow periods. I guess a lot of guys come in for their coffee breaks, and then go back to work. There was one Asian, one Caucasian, and one white Hispanic. In my personal opinion, these girls were pretty but less attractive than the girls I saw at the other two coffee shops mentioned here. They were more "pear shaped", and their muscle tone was "puffy" verging on "cottage cheese". Ironically, this place was best in having the girls circulate and interact with customers. Two of them sat down to chat a bit--and provide an eye full. Yes, they put cherries on top of the ice cream scoops. (BTW: when cashing out, I noticed a sign behind the counter reminding the girls not to spend more than 2 minutes at any one table, at any one time.)
In my limited experience, these coffee houses are just "bikini bars" that serve coffee instead of alcohol. If anyone wants to provide more insight, I'd like to learn more.

A couple are even married. And all the Asian coffee girls have been working together at the various coffee shops for years. The Asian girls ALL know each other, and know everything about each other's business. Some of them even went to jr. High and high school together at Bolsa, or Westminster. They are all really tight with each other. So there's no way they are going to play with you for AMP tip money because it will get back to their boyfriend and all the other Asian coffee girls in no time. The Asian coffee girls go to Vegas together and play at the Encore beach club. They go the Beyond and Wonderland raves together. They take each other out to Maestros steakhouse on their birthdays. They post and "like" each other's pictures of these fun events all day long on their Instagram page. A few will try to give the appearance they are single if they think you'll throw a few extra dollers your way. But most won't even do that. They make enough money just re-filling your tea, and the are going to spend the weekend partying at Coachella or Beyond or Encore with their boyfriend and all of their friends.
