Observer 314 mentioned this area, so this is probably the case. In a factory zone, possibly in Madison rather than Granite City proper.

I think the motel is now a " relax inn" and the quick shop accross the street may be a 711. I know some strippers that have stayed in the motel also on a weekly basis and they say ho's use the motel.
