IMO, it is no more than a scam to get you to send them money because they know there's no way you can find them.
And they bank on the fact you won't go after them to recover the money because you don't want to tell them you were sending money to a person for prostitution.
Even if you try to keep it to, "I sent it to her for a service", they will eventually push to learn what the service was and also decide there is something wrong with "your story" if you are holding back facts.
