I noticed that a sizeable percentage of recently active profiles are showing login locations outside the US. Asia, middle east, south america. I did question one gal about being out of the country and she told me someone was trying to hack her account. But with this many (dozens that I checked) it makes me wonder if some entity is hacking some of the accounts.

Until this is resolved I think it's best to sort the search results by 'New'. Sorting by 'Recently Active' tends to bring up all the hacked login locations, assuming that's what's happening.
So far it seems whoever is doing this is not willing or able to make new accounts but merely looking to co-opt existing accounts.
The new profiles are all showing United States for login location. Undoubtedly the perpetrator will wise up and masking the login locations soon, though.
