Last week Saturday I made an appointment at Royal Spa In the Kukui Plaza. They had a massage special. One hr for $36.00 and 90 minutes for $50.00. I opted for 90 minutes. So I made the 90 minute appointment for later that day since I was in the downtown area. I went there as scheduled and was introduced to Claire my masseuse for the session. She seemed in her 40's, 5'2" a little chunky, dressed in a blouse and shorts, nothing sexy. I thought I might as well get the massage. I undressed and laid on the table under the sheet, kept by drawers on. She came in and for the next 90 minutes it was strictly a medium pressure massage that I opted for. Despite her 20 years experience it was so-so. No hint of any extras, despite me giving clues. Had good conversation with her. Relaxing and felt good afterwards despite not getting any extras. Paid the fee $50.00 plus tipped her $25.00.
