I'm not sure what kind of phone you have but with mine the message appears on the phone despite it being in standby mode. I would look at the message and turn red and my friends would always ask."who's that?".
Emails can just be slow sometimes and its just frustrating when it is. I can understand providers only asking for phone calls. I talked to some that say they get a ton of calls ever day asking questions and yet no one shows up. I would get tired of texting if I had to do it all day. I'm sure some providers reserve texting to clients they know they can depend on showing up.
Met up with her today, had to make a little bit of a drive from where I live but well worth it. I've seen her several times and it; s always worth the travel. As always a 2 call deal but it's a nice hotel. When I got there she was dressed in a very nice little outfit. We talked and caught up and then got busy. You can tell alot about a person on how they handle themselves on the phone. It can work both ways. I've decided on not seeing many a provider based on how / what she said over the phone.

Sometimes I text "call me" to see if they are for real. If they call and talk it's still no guarantee. But at least you hear a voice and can get a little more information.
