Leaving off the face and using a body shot is better than using a fake pic. The no head shot is discretion. Fake pictures are, well, fake and are providers to avoid. They are using deceptive pictures to generate business they otherwise would not get. Sorry, there is no excuse.
I understand that, I myself have held high profile positions in the past. I also have family locally. I understand using a pic that is similar in appearance, but stealing and using someone elses photos is NOT a good idea. Using a celebrities photos or a porn star, is all out in poor taste! I think you took my response out of context. Furthermore, it is one thing to blur your face, but it is a whole different ballgame to use a photo that looks nothing like you!

Goddess, thanks for sharing. You are wise beyond your years. I think an acceptable option would be to hide the face. For some reason they always seem to choose more flattering pictures than how they actually look (at least from my experience). That would then qualify as a bait and switch to me. If I showed up and the pictures were not accurate, I would demand a 50% discount (or more) or walk away.
I just dated a young lady last night that has the real job and local family. I certainly respect that she wouldn't want to show herself in pictures that could easily be identified. I'm glad there are options like her available and would not want her to put herself at risk. By her taking special precautions, I feel much more comfortable with her.

When I made the reference to cheap you were the furthest on my mind. I was just expressing a personal preference. Hell, I've been called cheap by many a provider who felt their time were worth more. I don't like to go beyond the 100/hh treshold, because I think it's a fair price, when I factor in how long and hard it took me to make that 100. The bottom line is that most of us here are looking for the most smiles per melons.

Speaking as a customer, it strongly turns me off when a provider uses fake photos. I can understand wanting to be discreet, but I would much prefer a real photo with a blurred face or cut off head, rather than a fake photo.
I think Jenna is saying dumb in the sense of an escort thinking they can get away with fooling customers. If I sense a fake photo in an ad, I will not do business with that escort. If I meet an escort and then discover that she is using fake photos, I will be posting about it in my reviews.

I find it entertaining when they use porn star pics LOL. Of course some women use better pics to drum up more business. I refer to these ladies as "fly by nights". I can usually tell which ones these are. They are first off not in the profession of escorting for longevity. They are usually supporting a habit or other criminal professions ex: pick pocketing and the "grab and dash". With these girls, reviews are of no concern. Each week they change pics, cities and phone numbers. A bad review hence has no affect on them because next week they are someone else.
Some girls are not savvy with cameras and the internet enough to know how to take their own photo and blur the face.
Also another factor to consider is a girl that has formely had a bad boyfriend/ pimp, whatever you want to attribute them as. When a girl gets away from a bad situation she takes the financial benefits she was providing along with her. Changing pics and identities is sometimes the only way for them to try to start over without the dangers of being stalked.
When a girl has been arrested in this profession and is on probation sometimes the court refers them to monitoring of whatever site they were busted off of. Again, another reason a girl might have to make a short term change of identity.
There is so many reasons why every one does the things they do, sometimes genuine sometimes not. Thanks to review boards if it saves at least one person from a bad situation then it was all worth it. Learning from each other makes for better hobbyists and better providers.

You do not have to be savvy with cameras or internet. You can simply use a mask or hat or body paint... make up.
There are a lot of simple solutions. Some providers even admit saying "I look like the pictures."

I agree orlando, but not all providers even use the forum and I'm fairly sure the women that do, are already using real pics. All I'm saying is not everyone has bad intentions, some just don't know any better. Perhaps im more optimistic than most people, I just have learned that sometimes things aren't always what they seem..... Sometimes it's bad and sometimes it's not. I have met younger girls that started out in the business being told by someone to just use a fake pic and that's all they did. I have even taken pictures for some of these girls myself. I have taken pics for some of the girls that have been posting on usa itself. They didn't have bad intentions they were just young and someone else had started them the wrong way or they simply wanted some new pics. Sometimes people just need a chance to improve themselves.
I don't believe it's good for a ladies self esteem to use very deceptive pics and then when the client shows up he turns and leaves. ( For the one's that didn't have bad intentions) When she uses her own pics, the client is booking based on his attraction to what he sees, then when he stays she feels more viable as a provider. Maybe I just live in fairytale land.
