Am usually a daytime guy, but had 1. 5 hour Sat night to check out the scene. Went to Rick's for the first time in 5 years. Primarily to see a busty barista I know who says she works there. Paid $20 for entry and free drinks. The place is the same as I remember it. Empty. Thanksgiving holiday may have contributed, but there were 6 dancers, two waitstaff, two bouncers, a DJ and 5 patrons. Don't know how they have survived all these years with this type of business model. I was a regular at the old Rick's and was sad that it transformed into a DejaVu chain. Don't get me wrong, from a interior design perspective, it's great improvement. The talent and atmosphere was disappointing though. 4 blondes, 1 busty latina, and a AA, all between a 5-7 IMO. Actually, I thought the stunning AA waitress looked like she could be a model. The stage show was mixed. Some took off top and bottom, others just the top. I thought I should try out a dance, just to report that I did. Chubby waitress comes over and asked for me to buy a "lady-drink" for the busty latina. No thanks. She did just two moves, front straddle with head back and reverse, then repeat. The bouncer does a "walk-by" at the beginning of each song. $20 per dance (I got two) and she didn't take off anything in the back VIP booths. When I asked, she said it was illegal and that she would be fined. WTF!? She had been a waitress for 4 months and danced for 2 months. Maybe the others might do better but I didn't attempt. She seem really happy with payment. Sad really. I left after 30 minutes.

Decided to go tot Pandora's because I know there was something more on a Sat night. Busy evening as suspected. Lots of new talent, but it could be that I rarely come in a night. Actually I only recognized 2 ladies out of the possible 20-25 there. Mostly young and white. Talked to a couple and decided to go for a LD with Leila, a thick Italian / Russian mix, or so she tells me. I know the evenings are low mileage, but she gave a very hands on dance, but it was very expensive ($40 each). (Not sure if I am allowed to use two "buts" in a sentence.) Didn't know price until I asked after 5 dances. Not usually such a rookie, but had a nice time. Satisfied, I left after 45 minutes. Wished we had more variety of places to go to here but it is what it is.

Whether it is for a regular lapdance or a dancer's so called 'Naughty' dances I generally try to avoid the new and / or very young girls. They tend to be expensive and / or they give crappy dances.
