This is all great, in theory. However, Pinellas County and Hillsborough County Florida is a long way from Mexico.

The main reason you don't see a lot of inexpensive inside extras in the local clubs is because they all get watched HARD by LEO. Pinellas County, with all but three clubs in county jurisdiction, is on it even more than Tampa. Tampa at least goes in streaks, Pinellas County has undercovers in the clubs on a regular basis.

In fact, in all but a couple of the Pinellas clubs, if a person tries your suggested tactics the result will, in most cases, lead to the stripper going ape-shit about you to the security guys and the managers. If you withheld the money for the time you spent in the private dance area with her because she wouldn't put out, you'll have a couple of scenarios:

One: If you are a complete asshole to the security/management that confronts you on the issue, insisting that you are entitled to receive illegal services on the premisis, you'll have the police called on you and get arrested for theft of services and making the offer for prostitution. While you wait for the police to arrive, the security staff will give you a nice "hands on" lecture about your behavior. The police will not ask any questions about your injuries once the golden words, "I feared for the safety of my staff and customers," are spoken.

Two: If you just insist that you weren't satisfied and try to, quietly, get away, you'll probably get to drive home after taking your beating.

Three: You avoid either of the above by being very appologetic, calling it a misunderstanding, insisting that you weren't trying to do anything illegal, etc. - all while handing over the cash you owe for the time in the private dance area - and you'll simply be asked to leave for the night. Hell, if you grovel enough and offer to buy a few people drinks, you'll not even have to leave for the night but don't plan on any other dancers even getting near you once the one you pissed off tells them all about what happened.

So, again, take out in local clubs is possible but expensive. On site extras are rare and, again, expensive. Not to mention on site extras also run the added chance of getting caught, which will - in most clubs - lead to the dancer getting fired and the customer getting a "very hands on" escort to the parking lot, courtesy of the security staff.

I think you guys are really talking past each other, not really understanding where the other is coming from, coming from such different ends of this hobby.

Melbourne had 3 basic points. Admittedly, he framed them in a way that might seem to some braggadocious yet at the same time exploitive or inconsiderate of 3rd world women, However that doesn't complete invalidate those points.

1) The prices that can be had for women/strippers in some other countries make what some guys are willing to pay here seem absolutely absurd by comparison.

His first point is absolutely true and you guys who haven't had the opportunity to try such a trip really owe it to yourselves to do so. It will totally change your perspective on the relative merits of what is available locally, as it clearly has changed Melbourne's. That said, what Mike said is also true. Prices may be a lot cheaper in Mexico, but that means little to us as long as we're stuck way over here in Florida and what works well there (or might work) does not necessarily apply so well here either.

I think you guys might have misread Melbourne's other points. He never said NOT to tip well. In fact, he said quite the contrary - "tip her well every time". OTOH, he did qualify that with only TIPPING at the END and only IF you're satisfied with her performance.

The part about paying at the end does still apply here, though it is not as universally available. Usually one pays for erotic services at the end, whether it be for a lap dance or a CL escort (hence the expression "we don't pay for sex, we pay them to leave"). What Melbourne said is also very true. Most of the strippers I've interacted with in this manner want guys who are RICH. I've had pointed conversations with strippers about this and most of them agree, if they meet a guy in the club, they'll date him outside if he's successful and wealthy.

I have not dated strippers and I'd never follow my own advice on this subject. For that matter, I paid for some private dances over twenty years ago, when I was young and wanted to see what strip clubs were all about. Never did it again.

People asked how to go about it and I told them based upon two decades of close observation of the industry. I see what works for those who choose to go this route.

I don't date them. I rent them (and then only if I can get a reasonable rate). In fact, if no direct payment were involved I might be more worried that I was being dragged into a boyfriend/girlfriend dating relationship that I didn't really want to get involved with.

The odds of forming a decent relationship with a stripper (other than simply a sexual one) are very low. I won't say that all strippers are messed up in the head or only looking for a buck, but enough of them are that it just ain't worth pursuing anything with them other than sexual gratification for yourself at some mutually agreeable rate of pay. Strippers present a sexual fantasy. They may act like they might be available for something more as part of that fantasy (e.g. alluding to the possibility of getting together outside the club or lying about whether they have a boyfriend) but it is nearly always just part of their means of making more money. If you can't understand that or leave it at that then you shouldn't even be in there. If you want to date someone and have a normal relationship then find a normal girl.

I may disagree slightly with that because I have in the recent past formed relationships with a couple girls and mama's of different AMP's in my city. I find your observation very accurate. Got a call yesterday from a dancer who occasionally provides in and out of the club extras. She was actually going in to train for a waitress gig at a local restaurant (in addition to her former outside activities).
