These may have been related at some time in the past but now are not.
There is an Aloha on 5th Avenue near 34th street (older providers, lesser reviewed here - I have had a decent time there in the past but many others have not). There is a 2nd Aloha Spa in an industrial park off Ulmerton (younger providers and more plentiful and much better reviews here).
In Tampa Bay AMPs, the going rate for the door fee is .6 for 1/2 hour and .8 for a full hour with table shower. You should never pay any more than this and most places would not charge that. My guess is you looked like a horny tourist and a new AMP girl got greedy with you.
Sorry but once you showed you would pay a door fee of $.8, it is no wonder that you were quoted another $$ for fs. A total of $$$.8 is outrageous for an AMP. You should be able to enjoy the full menu most AMPs for around half of that.

Sneeky commented that he noticed that this place was incredibly clean. I can certainly confirm that. I think many local AMPs are pretty good in that regard. However a couple of the places that I have been (the "new" Osaka in Tampa comes to mind) are very dirty and because of that I won't go back.
